are really a lucky lot. They do not have a good bowling unit. The way Australian openers played against Badri their team did not deserve even semi spot. It is strange that a team which hardly performed well in league stage enters final of the World Cup!

The only team which did not deserve semi final was West Indies.. Compared to Australia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka which won 4 games.. West Indies won only 2 games and reached the final..

All countries will conspire against India because they know that they only are opposing DRS so that mach fixing can be done easily...

A cricketer takes bribe and intentionally drops a catch/ intentionally bowls a no ball/intentionally plays a false shot and gets out.

Can you explain how DRS can prevent this?

My thoughts exactly. I am happy that both Aus and Pak are kicked out. At the end of the tournament, the two semi-finalists have lost two games each while India lost only one on a rain-affected day.

OZ thrashing

OZ conspired to remove india from T20 by losing to PAK. This is not the first time , earlier in triangular series in Aus, they lost to Srilanka.to remove india. They are genuinely unsporting side in the world.

Everyone knows that Indians are the biggest cheaters in cricket.. That is why DRS is not accepted so that it is very easy to cheat without that.. If DRS comes in effect for every matches.. then Indians will loose more matches at home...

When Indians are cheating Indians ( see the amount of scams happening daily).. this is nothing.. Australia and Pakistan deserved to be in semis as they defeated S.Africa more easily than India...

DRS was there in World Cup 2011, and India emerged as champions.

Also, Pakistan did not beat South Africa comprehensively, they won by 2 wickets with 2 balls to spare.

DRS was never there in World Cup 2011... And everyone knows how India won against Pakistan who dropped 5 catches of Sachin who must be banned for entire life for bribing

Of course DRS was there in 2011 world cup, go through the scorecard of any match.

First arrest and ban those Pakistanis who dropped those catches, then if they say, that Sachin bribed them, and in the enquiry he is proved guilty, he should be definitely banned for life.

As a proof there was DRS in 2011 World cup, I am pasting a part of cricinfo commentary of the 2011 World Cup finals.

0.2

Malinga to Sehwag, OUT, Given out lbw, and immediately reviewed. Looks like a goner on replay! Back of a length delivery on middle stump, Sehwag was rising on the toes on leg stump line as it skidded through. He was on the hop as he closed the face and looked to flick. Misses the shot. Was there an inside edge? No evidence of that. Was that high? Not really - hit him under the roll. It's hitting middle. Three reds. Superb start for Sri Lanka! Sehwag top-scored for India in the 2003 final. Fair to say, he won't be the top scorer today.

V Sehwag lbw b Malinga 0 (2m 2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Mr. Bruno, you forget that India has beaten Pakistan while Australia lost to them. Then who is superior? Indian has won three matches like Pakistan but since India defeated Pakistan it should have been India in semis.

And u forgot that India were trashed by Australia... So only the victory over S.Africa matters.. India won by just 1 run.. Pakistan won with 2 wickets left which is better then 1 run win..

Even if India had won by 20 runs that would not have been enough for qualification.

Pakistan qualified because Aussies played safe and chased 112 instead of 150.

AUSTRALIA DESERVES THIS THRASHING
by SRIDHAR RAGHUNATHARAO on Oct 06, 2012 10:38 AM

Australia conspired with Pakistan by intentionally loosing by 32 runs such that India does not make an entry to semi final. Now, they got thrashed by mighty West Indians. (The name "India" is very much in West Indies.)
Let us all wish WI to regain their past glorious days by winning T20 World Cup.

When I was a kid, all I used to hear the fearful WI team with the likes of Vivian Richards, Courtney Walsh, Ambrose, etc. Now if they get some consistent bowlers then they can be unstoppable.

Why to feel shame man. They played well. OK..............run rate was not to the mark, no reason to feel shame, its a part of the game, definitely it makes unpleasant to see our team INDIA out of the final. Dhoni is the best captain I have ever seen for INDIA.

India should play sensibly as a well knit team and everyone should play for their country. this is no ordinary match and is a world cup. so players ought to be serious and do well in all departments of the game

What Sehwag did when selected is nothing great. He and Sachin now live only on past glory. India has done a great job in WC but due to nonsense format they had to exit before knock out stage.
