The few others have already taken retirement. With a new young team India would reverse the outcome this time.

If u pick Rahne be ready to lose Aroon is too raw even today Nehra is best fast bowler aftr Zaheer.. But no one understands this
They play IPL with all sorts of injury but they don't want to play for India. only within INDIA, our cricketers can play some level(mostly captain). But outside of India, it is very horrible performance most of the time. They go just tour using Govt. money. In addition, they fight for captaincy after playing few years and do so much politics among themselves. So we should forget cricket and focus on individual games rather than team events.

Dont jump the gun Sehwag is fine and by the time we have wriiten this he jhas come back to bat for Delhi,,s o please dont fingdexcuses. Viru is the best of India even now when he has been slightly off form. Did u c hois 52 in CL20-20.Two weeks ago.. he smashed all bowlers around the park
ZAKS HAS INJURY PROBLEMS FROM A LONGTIME,BEFORE NY SERIES HE IS DOUBTFUL THEN GOIES ON TO PLAY FOR THE SAKE OF IT ,WALKING THROUGH HIS BOWLING STRIES. GONE ARE THE DAYS WHEN HE WAS THE STRIKE BOWLER, JUST AN EXTRA BURDEN NOW. IT IS A BIG BLOW FOR INDIA HE IS CONTINUING TO PLAY ALL FORMS OF THE GAME AND BCCI JUST SITS AND WATCHES AS KEEP LOSING SERIES AWAY ONE AFTER ANOTHER.
So much newsprint and digital space is taken up seemingly justifying the need for Sehwag, Gambhir, Zaheer and Yuvaraj to be in the Indian team for the first test against England. Prudence should dictate that we need to field eleven players who are doing well right at this moment and not depend on history or reputation. If this is right, Sehwag and Gambhir should be nowhere in the team because they are completely out of form and perhaps a bit jaded. Zaheer is not the bowler whom we knew to be a destroyer. Yuvaraj has scored runs, yes, but has to be tested in the five-day format. There is danger in rushing him in, notwithstanding what Gavaskar says or many others feel. I'm sure one will ask, "who's to replace them?". We have Rahane and Mukund to open, Tiwari and Badrinath to be considered from. We do have a winning combination postively.
India does not require these two seniors any more. Surprisingly these two announce in time before IPL tournament about their 100% fitness and when it comes to national duty they are in injured list. Let the youngsters like Ajinkya Rahane, Manoj Towary, Unmukt Chand etc should get a chance to play in tests for our future.
If the selectors do not learn any lessons from the past series and keep committing the same mistake it just doesn't make any sense. The main reason for the two'white-wash' series were the opening pair not firing ad middle order coming into pressure. It would be ideaL for both Sehwag and Gambhir to go back to one season of domestic cricket before they are tried again for the India side. However considering that other youngsters are also not fully proven,Sehwag at least can be rested and A Rahane played in his place along with Gambhir who can be tried for two Tests.Should Gambhir also not click then he should also be replaced with another youngster like A Mukund or Dhawan etc.Time to start rebuilding.Same holds for Zaheer who needs to be rested or reverted for a season of domestic cricket.
