Sachin Tendulkar
by srajendransteno on Mar 28, 2012 01:19 PM

I should suggest that Rediff.com should start a campaign to compel Sachin Tendulkar to retire gracefully from cricket. It is high time he called it a day instead of grafting runs from one cricket match to another to glorify his personal record. To me he is a selfish chap who needs to be told to go.

Your Team lost the match to the minnows and the Asia Cup title due to your slow batting for personal landmarks. But you move up on the rankings. Keep it up ;-)

Idio_ts.....He was ODI no.1 after 200 against SA.After that he hardly played 4 matches and then the world cup. A player loses 0.5% rating for skipping a match. That is almost 5 points a match he skipped. If not penalized, he would have been in top 5 now.

Yes, news channels were flashing the news that Tendulkar stayed away from the function. And why not? The value Dravid carries, is far greater than his personal records.

Another Record
by Hagemaru on Mar 27, 2012 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin should set another unique record to his name. The most oldest person to play international cricket. I hope he will play 2051 World Cup. He will be 78 year old then and all foolish Indians will cheer for him.

sachin gets double points
by Chandra Paul on Mar 27, 2012 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

sachin points are calculated double, thats why he moves up fast even though he failed miserably in england, australia and bangladesh (except 1 innings).

miserably by his standars mabybe, but certainly good by other batsmens standard. He scored 8 fifties and one century in the last 35 innings after his 99th century, which will include the england and australia series. mate..u cant blindly accuse someone!
