Tendulkar did not get wealth free of cost.
He had special talent which he utilised to earn his wealth.
He did not make the slumdwellers poor or he did not prevent slumdwellers from becoming rich.
The slumdwellers live in slums of their own choice.
So Tendulkar need not feel guilty to construct a house of any value.
When the slumdwellers can not question the political leadership about their plight, they dont have any right to question individuals,,You fool bigtribe!

Its an open secret that Indian's can't play on bouncy tracks. There is no point in cribbing that over and over again. Some practical measure can solve the problem to some extent.

1. Sehwag/Gambhir/Raina/Yuvaraj/Harbajan are all proven international cricketers. But they fail consistently in abroad test matches. They have also earned enough for a secure living. They should be told to play in Country cricket in Eng/Aus/SA and skip IPL for this yr, if at all they hope to retain/comeback to the Test squad.

2. Upcoming players should stictly be told - your IPL performances mean nothing. Perform in Ranji trophy and earn your TEST place.

3. No player will play for India without playing 2 full Ranji seasons.

4. Anyone failing fitness will not be shown any sympathy. All those 20 something guys should know to work on their body ( See what Aussies have planned for Pat Cummins)

5. Pace Bowlers should learn swimming and be able to swim atleast 400-500 metres at a strech before taken into consideration. Swimming increases your stamina, arms stength and that gives them the guts to bowl 150kmph consistently.

Dravid ......
by Dire Straits on Jan 25, 2012 06:54 PM  | Hide replies

What a joke! True he never got the due that he deserved back in his day, but he also never got the harsh riticism that he deserves since mid 2006. When he scores, he's suddenly the most reliable batsman, and when he flops like he usually have been all the time since the above mentioned period, it's unfortunate and he will bounce back. Imagine if it were Tendulkar in place of Dravid, he would have been probably stoned to death by the illiterate fans in this forum during this series. Add to that where Dravid got praises for his performances in England, Tendulkar would have been accused of playing for self.

But that's no surprise, after all India has a significant percentage of illiterate population as evident from this forum.

Best time to throw this lazy cricket
by Reporter on Jan 25, 2012 06:52 PM

It is the best and golden opportunity to kick this commercial sport out from India. Since only played with intension of money making irrespective of victory or loss. People should not fell into this and expect more and finally getting awkward result with slappings. Sachin already built a beautiful house worth 100 crores then what else required for him and from him ??? India Cricket team and India Sports Ministry should learn the spirit of Australia how they are showing class and respect their national game. It is the time to dissolve money making both legal and illegal by BCCI in the name of this commercial sport.
