If Rohit doesn't play in Perth, it will be a blessing in disguise for him as he is sure to play in Adelaide...

I can agree with your choice of captains for ODI and 20-20 teams but for test matches India should look upto somebody new who has the potentail...At present nobody comes to mind....may be Rohit Sharma..Sachin and Dravid r close to retiring and making then captain will not help....

Rahul!
by abhilash mulky on Jan 12, 2012 05:54 PM

The only player out of touch/ Form in our tean is Rahul Dravid....Others are in good touch but not good enough to play in Indian team's tour of Australia (Except Sachin...and laxman, Sehwag, rohit to some extent)...So If Dravid returns to form, then India will start to avoid losing matches....Gambhir, Kohli n Dhoni r not technically sound to play in these pitches...

Who
by abhilash mulky on Jan 12, 2012 05:50 PM

is Dhoni?? He is sure that his place in test side is almost lost. So he wants to avoid it by stating that he wants to play till 2013..wat a drama...He should quit immediately for the benefit of our country....No team can afford a non playing captain in International matches..

IF RETIRING THEN WHY HESITATE TAKE HARD DECISIONS ?
by damodaran mohan on Jan 12, 2012 05:41 PM  | Hide replies

If Dhoni is planning to retire from TESTs then why is he fighting shy of taking hard decisions inspite of poor showing from the side.He should drop any two among Sachin,Laxman and Gambhir for the Perth Test so that both Virat and Rohit could play as also a fifth bowler.

Dropping Sachin???
Are You CRAZY? He is Indias highest run getter in this series. Imagine Indias condition if he wouldnot have scored those half centuries.

If Sourav returns , it solves twin problem- captaincy and opener slot !Dhobini and Viru can be shown the door in test cricket !
