I think Sri Lanka and Australia deserve to be in the finals. Australia would need to really struggle to win against SL, in the finals. Let's accpet the fact that we neither deserve to be in the finals nor can give a tough fight to the either of Aus or SL, even if we enter finals by luck. Our players are good only for IPL and the post-match dance parties.

What has happened to Sachin & Sehwag?They are getting out in most irresponsible manner in almost every game of the series!!If they dont want to play,they should express it openly.If they wait for at least 8-9 overs patiently,they will get 2nd string bowlers of the opposition and they can easily plunder runs.They are not just having patience to toil it out in the middle!!

hot, we won only one match CONVINCINGLY so far in which dhoniji scored 4 RUNS…
Sri Lanakan players get peanuts compared to ours, and are not even paid sometimes. Look at how they go for the jugular from the word go! They also beat us hollow!
3 mistakes in selection: 1] Sehwag as captain should have replaced Sachin, not Rohit 2] Keeping Sachin and Sehwag as openers meant that an in-form Gauti was asked to bat at no. 3. Not the right decision when he's been making 90s as an opener. 3] Ashwin should have replaced Yadav, not Zak. You don't keep experimenting in a must-win match. Yadav has been out of form and has been conceding lot of runs off late. Next match, drop both Sehwag and Sachin. Get in Tiwary and Rohit. Also, Dhoni and Zak should replace Patel and Yadav respectively.

Iyer; 1. Agree. 2. Disagree. Gambhir came in the 2nd baal of the day, so no difference whether it was #1 or #3 for him. 3. Agree.
I am still surprised, that how come most talented opener, Rahane have not been given a single chance to play. If the series was about roating your senior playaers, to give youngesters an oportunity, than he should have been picked in Playing XI.
As Expected India lost the match. Always top order batsman flops, always the pressure is on the bottom order batsman to turn the match. They have to bowl/field well also. Indian cricketers lost interest in International one day and test matches. They care for IPL's only. If govt ban's IPL then things would be perfect.
