i have been following criket ever since india won world cup in 1983.windies will come and go india will go and come to australia...india will win some india will loose some...high and lows are the beauty of cricket...and i and i am sure many others like me feels pity to those how strain their face muscles to discuss like should we focus on team india or sachin...all of these combined is called the religion of cricket..if you have time ........talk about it...if you time to relax then watch it on TV..if you dont really have time then dont worry ...there is noting much its just a free time hobby ...

He he..spot on..everything will be forgotten amidst media created mass euphoria...Congress govt may as well pay the WI team well to ensure that and divert the attention of the nation to something totally useless and pointless...

It's all the print and electronic media hype. u and I love to watch India's victories, who brings victory is not important as it\'s a team game. When will this stupid print/electronic media stop harping on Tendulkar\'s century of centuries. There should law to ban speculative reporting by these so-called cricket writers. Let Tendulkar enjoy playing instead of putting undue pressure on him. Sic

Sachin's 100th ton. Does it matter???
by a g on Nov 05, 2011 06:39 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin scores hundreds on hundreds, double and triple centuries. However, does it matter? What is the use of such huge scores when you cannot win matches for the country? All his records are only good for decorative purposes and none have translated into match winning performances. So, why so much of hype around his 100th ton? It doesn't really matter to the country or the team. It's only that he would have made another record. Indians should stop indulging in hero worship and recognize people who really make a difference to the nation and not those who indulge in personal laurels which is of little use to the country.

look like that you have just born and do not know abc of last 20 years of indian cricket where you have even surrdendered to Jimbabve in world cup when SRT not played due to his father's sad demise. Just check up the facts and than comment. it is only last 4-5 years he has gor support from rest of the team in terms of performance and team has performed as a team otherwise before that all the matches were treated finished if Tendulkar is out/not playing
