Re: world cup 2011

Whether matches are fixed or not will never be known, but one thing is certain, our team will never get the appreciation of our countrymen. If they lose, they are losers, if they win, they are fixers.
dude ponting has won two worldcups for his team still he is been criticized he is one of the best captains any team would ever had thats another thing his ruling period is over but he definetly needs apriciation for his wonderful work and hounarable RETIREMENT
India won just because Shri Shri Narendra Modi ji was there watching the match. Our saviour Modiji saved the match for us. Long Live Narendra Modi! Modi ji ki jai!
Finally the ghosts of WC 2003 final were exorcised, befittingly, in the land of the Mahatma. That 2003 day is always etched in India's consciousness much like the last ball six in Sharjah. The vision of Sachin, Sourav and Dravid in 2003 is now closer to fruition. That the youth brigade finished it off would have been heartening for the seniors who had soaked up so much pressure in the past.
The past 3 WC finals were all lost by Asian teams and was a strange coincidence that 2 Asian teams beat the Aussies in consecutive matches in WC 2011.
As India had proved to the world that Aussies can be beaten repeatedly in test cricket, so too they have now, refreshingly, ended the Aussie dominance in ODIs.
Altough we have won the match against Aus., but still it has been never easy for India to win any easily. This is because our Indian tem require more all rounders and it requires to do the fielding as Aussies did it yesterday.
Yet again Dhoni has failed both in keeping and batting. Another continued failure is Harbajan. The score could have been restricted less than 250 if the last over could have been given to Yuvaraj instead of Harbajan who gave away 14 runs. Harbajan is emotionally attacked and hence unable to perform to his fullest due to his breaking away from his fiance. It would be wise for Dhoni to talk to Harbajan and if need can be sidelined for the match against Pakistan as he cannot take for granted the semi final against Pak which has very efficient bowlers - both pace and spin.
The most pathetic scenario of our team is field setting for a particular bowler as per bowler's request but the ball is not delivered as is required for the field set up and the batsmen despatch the ball effortlessly in to the other direction where there are no fielders. Our bowlers lack accuracy and consistency, which is needed in semi final and final to snatch the World Cup. Our batsmen should be calm and composed and should punish the wrong ball. Shewag was pathetic in judging the ball which was skyed for a simple catch. It was not at all warranted as the team was in comfortable position with Tendulkar on the other side. Gambir's out was also totally unwarranted. The need of the hour is application of right mind.
As an Indian I have taken the privilege to air my views on the team. Its not condemn but room for improvement.
Boys best of luck and the Cup is Ours after 28 years.

Dear Bala, zaheer, ashwin and yuvi had completed their quota of 10 overs and bhajji was a better choice than munaf or other part timers. He gave away 13 runs but overall his economy rate was better than Zaheer, Ashwin and Munaf... this essentially shows that he was quite accurate in his spell, Aussies didnt hit his for a boundry till his 8th over....
and who do you think should be included in place of bhajji? chawla or nehra ?
i think a decent combination is set , shouldn't be changed now... at the most munaf could be replaced by nehra.... no other change reqd.

yet again he miserably failed both in bat in keeping. Even he erred in giving the last over to Harbajan who conceded 14 runs which took Aus to 260 else they could have been contained within 245.

pretty much nothing. These losers rant. Hardly has anything of sense or even constructive criticism come from them. Hate is the agenda, rest is all a tool.
