We like you because you were a great player and you brought world cup to india... that doesnt mean that you can talk so cheaply about present cricketers...
I hope it is not because Dhoni brought back the cup again and the charm of 1983 is no more exciting...???? or.... he is a better captain than you are...??? If at all you can... try to support and encourage the team... that suits you better at this age.

No one has a better right to comment than Kapil paaji. If Dhoni and all are enjoying all these benefits it is because of what people like Kapil who brought cricket to the masses when they played.

What is he "reported" to have done ? If anything, he graced us all by playing for the country the way he did
You can view kapil's comments in different ways. In way what he said is correct, as a ardent Indian cricket fan it is pain to see that team was without a bowler who was looking like taking wicket until 2nd new ball is taken. And you feel frustrated and think that Zaheer wan not honest about his fitness before playing the test and Dhoni not going with 5 bowlers and if on day 2 of a test match India is short of bowler and reduced to position of resorting to a keeper doing the bowling, it irritates anybody wants India to win the test match. Conversely, if you are a ardent Dhoni fan and for who Dhoni is bigger than India team winning, can get angry and criticize. And as a well wisher of Indian cricket and puts country before Individual you expect that Kapil gets angry. The word used by Kapil may be bit harsh but anybody who knows Kapil doesnt' posses good communication skill do understand what he is trying to say. So It's left to readers to have their own opinion. For me Dhoni and Zaheer (I'm a big fan of his bowling skills) let India down. I don't think now India can with this test match. Sadly in India it's Individuls that matter than team India and they don't accept if anything said negative of any player whom they like.

lol. Put like a true kapil fan. Look at it away from the fanfare and you can see the decision. Dont know why you boys have to explain it by taking sides.
Selectors should answer. When did Zaheer last prove his match fitness before embarking on a test series despite his history of breaking down often. Does playing IPL certify match fitness.
