someone said that it would be great if Channel 9 legend commentators like Bill Lawry , Tony Greig or richie Benaud would describe the 100th 100 by Sachin in Ind aus series well Bill the most exciting commentator could well be on the mike on channel9 but sadly Indians would not get that . Star cricket would have their own boring bunch of Manjrekar and Saurav who will make listening to that piece most boring

Why you guys so obssessed with sachin's 100th 100? He will get it sooner than later. But, we need to do well in australia and that is more important.

i am not .Please read and understand what I meant . I am telling about the horrible standards of Espn commenatary compared to the brilliant Channel 9 team. Any person who has played about 700 international games will get close to the 100 100's so it is not such great

Any person who had played 1400 internationals would have been close to 200 centuries. Wonder why that not is?
oz has all debutant new pacers...when india plays oz debutant bowlers they always get s.c.r.e.*.e.d ! in ODIs india has good chance..but they will have to adjust very fast to these new guys in tests to win

Gilly had another 2000 test runs in him but he retired when his tally was 9619. An Indian player would not have left the scene so close to landmark.

Gilly never cared for those records. If he had he would not have retired , actually he quit midway through his last test when he dropped a catch of VVS Laxman and one team member/staff said he should consider quitting

do not use we as for all Indians because there are a few people but in extremely small numbers who would say good thing about opposition team or ponting. Well those people are rare.

I wd like to hear Sachin say a few good encouraging words to Ponting. Ponting praises Sachin even though he wants Sachin's records badly. Sachin may is reserving his praise of him at some later date.

You just happen to choose , not to read about it...SRT has praised many many Aus and Other players despite of rivalry on ground...During the tour BCCI code doesnt permit players to comment. SRT follows it. Gilly is retired ...and he is suppose to speak in press conference..

Well Nothing disrespectful to Gilly...But IPL has changed everything for sure..Money and Mingling with all international players...makes things more friendly...Other point is He was in press conference in MUMBAI...The Same Gilly accused publically SRT for lieing when it was the mon-Key (Sorry Symond)issue between Symonds and bhajji... I very much recall Sunny praising Mathew Hyden after his 380 against zimb...Many were saying zimb is not the greatest team so it was easy tripple aginst them...And Sunny's argument was if it is so how come othrs didnt make tripple against it then why only Mathew..?? And no dear Ind has ponting admirers too (not me)...

Ofcourse these foren crickters make money in India and so may be saying goodies abt ind players. But i senses some objectivity in his praise. Sachin did save Bajji by the way. But i dint mind Sachin do it becoz Ozies have done nonsense on field for decades. It is only Indian sledging that got under their skin and finally pulled down Ozies from those heights.

You are right, Phoren cricketers are flocking to India. Why can't BCCI stop recruiting Phoren cricketers and allow all Indian cricketers to pay in IPL. After all it is IPL. By the way there is a serires called challeger serires, a 50 over serires played in India. Can somebody tell me what was the viewership ?
IPL is a tamasha, BCCI gives money they come and play we pay ( 3000 - 15000) for a four hour tamasha.
