If evryone is inspired by Sachin and will not retire, then its difficult for others to come.
Its not playing cricket for years..but consistently performing like Sachin is the key.

He will be made to retire..

Aussie selectors are ruthless. If Hussey thinks he is a Tendulkar he is mistaken. When they chucked out greats like Healy, Waugh etc.. Hussey stands no chance.

The firat line itself is wrong. He is not an Indian Batting Icon. He is the world batting Icon.

Come one Hussey

Thats the spirit hussey.
Keep going.
I was afraid he will retire with a test average of 80 and ODI avg of 60.
Now both of them fell to 50.
I want his ODI avg to fall to 40 and then he can retire.

Its an excuse to those who want not to retire even if becoming old and out of form. I guess Ponting, Hussey and Dravid are inspired :)

Too much of bragging is going about Sachin . There are other greats who plays the game and Dravid and Ponting are certainly greats of the game and doesnt need inspiration to play from Sachin. Hussey has just not referred to Sachin but to Langers , the Haydens and the Waughs of the game.Just Stop giving credit to Sachin for everything

he is the comic book hero of the dumbos. Just a little glitch though. The super hero chickens out when under pressure and leading the team.

Yes Jinson you are right. Think how much pressure indian cricketers have. And Sachin is handling this all. So nobody said him for retirement. If you are indian you will have to perform better and better. I am sure if sachin will play well heself retire from cricket. You are amazing Sachin, How do you manage pressure of 1.1 billion people.

I am sure Sachin will play test cricket till 40. Sachin will retire from ODI after the world cup. Mark my word, and why he should not? We still don't have a test batsman as reliable as Sachin

Good job Sachin! You are inspiring the old men from Australia to keep playing. They will play and help us along the way through their poor performance :-)
Hope you inspire Waugh brothers to come out of retirement and play!

What you conveniently missed out is the fact that Sachin has scored double centuries in his last test and ODI.

So why should he retire ? For your info: Steve Waugh, Warne and McGrath retired at 38 where as Sachin is currently 37.

Oh, that is exactly my point! They can not perform like him but they will keep playing at his age! Isn't that good for us? May be I did not put it across properly but you have exactly said what I wanted to say!
