I am amazed to see the England squad without EOIN MORGAN. Where is he? Is he injured? The guy was in such tremendous form ..... he could have single handedly saved the team from this ignominy!!
The way the series was hyped up, as if its a world championship battle was irritating. Esp when India is the undisputed No1 and the series against SA should be considered the premier series in cricket.A bowler like Siddle was handled easily by the Indians whenever we played against them. And England made him look like a world beater. And to think ENgland has ambitions to be the best in the world. Giving away 6 wickets and a hatrick to this guy! LOL..No wonder India is by far No1 and will continue to stay that way!

So called No.1 team could only beat Kiwis 1-0 due to rain and overcast factor.. It was not level playing field as when they bated it was cloudy wheras when india batted it was bright and sunny.. otherwise it would have been a draw..

When you have a lead of 400 runs even Kenya can beat Australia and India.. unless miracles happen..

That's why India is No.1 They can even control the sun, commanding it to hide behind clouds when NZ bat and come out when India bats. Hail India, we are Sun worshipers. Go away you creatures of the dark.

Kiwis played poorly in the 3rd test. Both batting and bowling they had no willingness to perform the way they did in first two tests.
India has played only on flat pitches of Indian subcontinent in the last 3 years (after 2007-08 Australia trip). The only exception was a walk over trip against lowest ranked NZ in 2008.

True that India is currently rated as the No. 1 Test Team. However, when is the last time they have played abroad (excluding Sri lanka,Pakistan & Bangladesh -Coz thats as good as playing at home considering the pitch conditions are almost the same)? So would appreciate if we could hold our thoughts till the S.A series is over and then comment on India's perfomance and status!!

Australia always used to lose against india when they were undisputed world number 1, yet every time they used to lose, they behaved as if nothing happened n forgot it. they went back home played well against poor teams n won. why accuse india of nt winning outside sub continent? india had won against west indies, england, new zeland, pakistan at their own den apart from low ranking teams. wwe are the only team who really faught against the aus over the last 10 yrs. we have drwan series in their country n beat them when they werer here.unless they cheat, we would have beaten the aus convincingly last time as well.

only team we r yet to beat is sa at their country, which too will happen. right now if we play a 5 test series at australia we will win at least by 3-2 or 4-1 margin with loss in the first test. remember thanks bcci, we never play 5 test series otherwise indian performances would have been even better.

The only "teams" we are yet to beat is SA at their country AND Australia at their country...
And rather than focussing on making tall claims, let's first figure out how to thrash lowly teams like New Zealand at our own home (which even Bangladesh manages to do)... Howzzat??

It is too early to write off England. Remember, they have done well in all the matches before this test match. So it may be a case of a one time failure on their part. Even today, but for Strauss and Collingwood the rest like Cook, Bell, Pietersen did well. So just givem them some time and judge. It is a long series, buddy. Even Aussies' intensity could also come down

Siddle would not have played if Bollinger was fit Superb Australia

:) Since you are hell bent on comparins apples with oranges on different pitches in different times in different conditions; let me give you a sample of your own logic...
New Zealand were beaten by Bangladesh (of all teams) 4-0 resoundingly...
Whereas we needed Harbhajan's unexpected heroics to "save" a test match and some pretty ordinary batting (no surprises) from New Zealand when they "gifted" their wickets away at Nagpur to even get a semblance of some result in a 3 match series....
And to think India claims to be the best in the world. No match to the devastating thrashing of the same team by a lowly Bangladesh!! ;-)

You need reality check. Siddle in current form at Brisbane is far diffferent from debutant Siddle at a Mohali..it one thing to hail Ind as No.1 but its not fair to ridicule Siddle's performance.

Absolutely , Indian Cricket fans seems to go overboard in ridiculing the cricketers from other nations , especially Aussies (Ponting in particular , maybe he is just one of the greats and Sachin fans cant tolerate that).

Very True. Even in his early days, Siddle had shown tremendous charecter in troubling our batsmen, even though the final figures didn't reflect his true efforts. It is just that Aussies has such a long list of quality bowlers, siddle's selection came as a surprise to many. In my list, he would have featured in any case, but in the place of Johnson instead for Bollinger. Great bowling today with plenty of thinking and adoption to the ground conditions. Way to go, Man.
