now bhajji and laxman has taken ind out of trouble. but dhoni will get all the credit and will be named the best captain. when was the last time he scored above 40 in a test match.

But doesn't Dhoni get brickbats when India loses? If he can get brickbats why cannot he get bouquets?

No he is not gettin gbrickbats in looses also. Otherwise how he is continuing as captain in ODI/T20 where India is loosing too many matches in last 2 yrs. in t-20 India has lost 80% of matches under dhoni captaincy in alst 2 yrs. still he is continued. Simply a lucky guy.
this man is not a fluke. He proved it over the years and so many times. he has a talent which is rare and unique. respect it and honour him lest we prove how regionalism and favouritism is all this nation is made of.

U know, No 6 is not Laxman's ideal position to bat at... He has already expressed his desire to bat at No 3 which is his favourite position and he made that mammoth 281 against Auz in that position...Still he is saving his team from defeat at no 6 several times...Hats off Laxman... He is the greatest Indian batsman...
Nothing to take away from Harbajan's heroics today, I strongly feel that we need better bowlers (perhaps Harbajan should play his role as bowler better). We are seriously short of match winning bowlers and right from the days of Ravi Shastri - more and more bowlers turn into makeshift and sometimes specialist batsmen. There is already so much batting in the team, we are seriously lacking quality bowlers - I will prefer Harbhajan being considered as a bowler for subsequent matches - but for this current test where he dons the mantle of match saver.

True. Although the pitch is a docile one, but we have always lacked top quality fast bowlers which is one of the prerequisite for winning matches on all types of pitches. We have only zaheer, but we need a genuine quick who can take wickets.
Laxman didnt even get Padma Shri but a loser like Sania Mirza got one. It shows how irrelevant this award is and how nobody in India knows what real talent is. No wonder most people leave India at the first chance.

It is ages since the Govt. of India awards stopped being respected. One Bharat Ratna went to M.G.Ramachandran to showcase the gratitude of Congress-under-Rajiv Gandhi. Now, you may ask who MGR was.
It is not for nothing that Laxman is respected by even the earlier lot of Aussies. He has repeatedly blossomed under pressure. To get the adulation of fans is easy. Not so to get from opponents especially of the arrogant Aussie types. Hats off to Laxman.
