s, rediff should learn and focus on other sports also, no good coverage on hockey and chess, what rediff, so bad. Be upto the mark.
Dhoni is the best captain ever. Just because he has given India so many successes , it has become customary to expect success all the time. The team is suffering due to negative persons like Yuv raj who were also responsible for loss of Kings eleven punjab. He is a disgruntled man and just because he is not given the importance he sulks all the time. One disgruntled man can spoil the whole teams mood.
It will be a big blunder to have any other captain than dhoni as no one has the stature to be there

Everybody is talking, dhoni failed, bajji failed, bowlers failed, batsmen failed ... go on.
Most of the players are talent and they shown their skills. But, what i found in WC20 is that, the burning desire to win and the commitment was not there in the players, which was there and shown by all of them in IPL. Their body language is clear that they are tired and given up due to hectic IPL schedule and may be any other reasons like compensation is more than BCCI. (Obviously less work and commitment for less payment of BCCI, but if u perform outstandingly, in this year IPL, next year, players bidding will be in crores simple -> ("Paisa me Paramathma"). May be not all the players are like that.
I am not blaming the IPL, its bringing out new talent, and giving platform to new players to play and earn something for choosing the cricket as career. But BCCI should plan the schedule of IPL, which will not create such problems for the ICC scheduled tournments. And one more point, next ipl, 2 teams will be added means, each team will play 18 matches minimum, which will make the fitness of players more worse. I suggest, it should be 9 matches (1 team play with all the 9 times once) is enough. What do you say.

This Srikant should be removed for bad selection.
He never gives chances to good players.Vijay had just 3 good games in the IPL yet he was selected.Yusuf pathan was pathetic in the IPL barring his century.
Players like Manoj & Saurabh Tiwary were not selected who performed very well.Even Robin Uttapha was left out. Domestic run machines Abhishek Nayar and Cheteshwar Pujara are not selected.
Talented bowlers like Umesh Yadav and Salabh Shrivastva were ignored.
All-rounders like Laxmi Ratan Shukla were not even considerd(the Bengal captian has a great strike rate even in tests,he can pick wickets with his medium pacers,restrict the batsmen in the mid overs,ideal for no.4 or no.5 or even no.7,what more do u want)
Srikant just picks his Team Tamil Nadu or Team South Zone not Team India.Team Tamil Nadu cannot win the T20 WC against the unbaisedly selected intl squads.
Cum on Mr.Srikant pick a squad for Team India and then see the difference.

dhoni and garry is a reason for failure. they should understood the situation very fast. if Vijay is failed as opener and they should send yusuf as a opener and droping yuvaraj to lower order. they fearing about using people if yusuf is succed as opener then sachin place is gone as opener.

my dear friend there is alwways talent in the indian bench.how do u know that they can be successfull in the fast track when the seniors themselves have failed .. except Raina.there is big list of talents. when the WC comes , u can select 11 .the seniors and existing 11 go and sit in their places.The only place vacant was Sehwag. as for opener the slot was for Vijay , ojha , and Tiwari. Vijay was selected.Howwill u know whether Tiwari or Ojha would have succeded when Gambhi has failed as a opner

I fully agree. Wonder why Harbhajan gets a free ride. I would rather he takes a few wickets than get an economy rate of 6. That is his primary job I think. Compare his performance with that to Swann in a similar situation against SL. They should get Mishra and Ohja in ASAP!

Dhoni is very clever cricketer not for his performance but he is clever for saving his position in team , he comes up in batting order when india is in commanding position and finishes game by not getting out by this he retains his avg , and in crucial matches never he performed bcoz he not have techinique to play good balls , he know only tht broom rotating shot, he never ever performed on bouncing or spin pitches he only perform on flat pitches , his bit good performance as captain is bcoz of team performance and his luck, T20 2010 world cup shown his reality without his luck

Then why is he at da top of ICC rankings? T20 is just a gamble. Sometimes it can be a do or die situation for anybody. It has to be ur day. That cannot be controlled by anybody.

The problem with Dhoni is not his attitude or anything. It's the fact that he has never excerted in establishing discipline in the team. He should have been tough on those who violate rules and regulations. As you can see now he is made to suffer for other people's mistakes as well.
Captain cool was very effective when his team was young and there are millions in India who work very well with young teams.
PROBLEM comes when the team of yours graduates with you and become senior and start developing ATTITUDE. At this moment, you have the best chance of showing your leadership skills to ENGAGE them but DO NOT LET THEM go off hook. DHONI miserably failed in doing so.
DHONI can not be termed as a leader if he can not control his STAR PARIWAR of YUVI, BHAJJI, NEHRA, GAUTI, ZAHEER and others and inculcate good work habits. DHONI took the world T20 very casually, and he needs to pay for it.
DHONI can still lead Team India in 50-50 and test matches, but his careless attitude and taking the things for granted leadership should be penalized for sure. He still has the chance in ODI format and in test matches for not let the leadership go from him. But for T20 is should be curtains. And take it from me, if DHONI is sacked, there will be strong message to those who take the things lightly, casually and for granted.
BCCI will never do it, as like players they lack INTEGRITY to this nation.

However, it could be better if Tendulkar is made to agree to be the captain of Test Cricket and ODIs and Sehwag could be made captain of T20 format. But you are right, BCCI has got its own motives. They never listen to the feelings of true lovers of India. Thanks

Why Dhoni? If u ask me there are so many arrogant money-minded nut cases in that team who act like u guys are invisible all the time. They need an attitude adjustment before anything else. One day they score over 75 and then they r in the clouds! Dhoni is not the only person to be blamed.
