Funny, but true... The condition of several players as Kirsten says is over weight and their movements on the field. What is worse is the sellectors are thick skinned. Several deserving players got injustice

THEY WONt fire a bad captain DHONI, Pakistan would have DONE IT LONG LONG AGO... INDIANS are blind. THEY HAVE MANY 'IFS' AND 'BUTTT'

....THAT IS WHY PAKIS ARE IN SEMIS. good job guys.... even if you are no lucky with AUZ who have Holland Pacer Nannes as well who bought them to semis. Even englad has holland origin SA player petersen.

dont want to blame the rest of india 10 players when management forces dhoni upon them. Babuas blasting diversionary message on all sites confuses people more.

It is a Shame
by gowdarr on May 14, 2010 07:11 AM

I think It is time India not only has a separate Test, ODI and T20 Team, but it also needs a separate coach, selection committee and captain for each format of the game. Some of you may not agree. But mark my words eventually this will happen because the skill, personality and attitude required for the 3 formats are completely different. what are players complaining about playing, too much of cricket when all the other country play the same and win tournaments. (Think about it all these guys come and play in India even if they don't like). It is time to make the players earn their right to represent the nation. What better then have 3 teams for a billion people. Go India go, don't be defensive be aggressive, think different , do different be a winner not a loser. India has enough talent, she can have 10 teams which can win world cup. All that the guys need is opportunity not nepotism. Think about it Utthappa who hit some many huge sixes in IPL is not in India team, overweight attitude idiots who think they are burdened by cricket and parties are in the team. I feel sad when we have so much talent and not even qualify for super eight in T20 world cup . I am sure millions if not all the billion people stay awake the whole night to watch the game and feel disappointed when we have a bunch of jokers representing us.

Kirsten will be out...
by B M on May 14, 2010 06:46 AM

The Indian team players will simply not tolerate their coach getting stronger. Kirsten will follow Greg Chappel's fate. As long as the coach maintains a low profile, the players will sing praises about him. The moment he starts getting nasty, they will pounce on him.

Its a matter of time before our egoistic and overpampered players get rid of Kirsten.

Cricket has reached a saturation point!
by kar c on May 14, 2010 05:59 AM

I strongly believe the game of Cricket has reached a saturation point and this is goind to be the END. It has and is slowly losing it's charm in INDIA. Now's the time INDIA shelves this sport and encourages and spends money on other sports like soccer, hockey and others that look so promising but have no support. Too much emphasis is laid on the game of Cricket. I can boldly say that INDIA has only been lucky in the past to make it big in Cricket. It is only by fluke and nothing else. See the fitness requirements of other sports like soccer, hockey to be successfull. Cricket doesn't need that but yet, so much emphasis, so much money is spent. GOD is slowly revealing the TRUTH. That's the power of GOD.

INDIAN TEAM
by Aam Admi on May 14, 2010 05:53 AM  | Hide replies

Probably time has come to show Kristen the door. Who is he to comment about the mighties of Indian Team like Yuvraj Singh and others. After all, these players are making much more money than he is and in the host country it only money which counts. If the players decide to spend money and at the same time keep their position in the team, how does it matter. In fact, for the players, IPL should probably be more important, since it gives money. What is there in national prestige, who cares as long as one is able to earn enough from any source.
