This person appears to be a sadist. She would be more happy watching Kick-boxing and WWF. It is not the way to comment on one of the most respectable cricketer.

I'm sure neither Dravid or his family members come anywhere near Rediff forums. They have more important things to do in life.

Its just an Ordinary Ball from the Ordinary bowler of the Ordinary team that hit him to get an extraordinary injury... Nothing much. he will be fine soon.....
However, hats off for the integrity and guts shown by Dravid. There has been some occasions in test where it amazes me how Dravid controls his emotions.
First one was when Asharful got out and he was very angry and he waved his bat in air in anger. Dravid was passing by him closely. He just ducked a little and then went ahead without showing any emotions.
Second one was when he got out on a NO Ball. He started walking and after a while he was told that it was a NO ball, so he just turned and came back. Did NOT expressed his happiness or surprise in any way.
And at last, he was hit so hard that he got a facture in his jaws. But look at how decently he took it and walked off the ground quietly.

Dravid is the greatest in Indian cricket, a thorough gentleman, lover of the game, makes no fuss, no tantrums. He is a gem of a cricketer, not seen nowadays. Ashraful is nothing but a bag of shiiiitt.

thats the difference between this guy and other indian team members.i feel irritated wen i see bhajji sreesanth yuvi doing odd things wen taking wickets etc.this guy dravid is second only to bradman in technic style and agile in test cricket .still sachin is getting all the adulation and this guy is not even showing slightest of resistance to this.dravid is adored all over the world for his style of cricket except india.

fortunately bradman did not play against bangladesh. Otherwise bradman would have been second to dravid in your views. Technique of sachin ramesh tendulkar, sunil Manohar gavaskar, geoff boycott etc. are being questioned or put under scanner for comparison!!!

Dravid is professionalism personified. At the end of the day, his record speaks for itself. However, his the significance of his contributions go way beyond even his records. One only needs to look at the conditions under which he amassed those runs; often when the rest of the Indian batting lay in shambles around him. In an era marked by fast changes in technology, attitudes and relationships, the purity of his technique and his serenity at the crease are reassuring in so many ways. The man is a cricketing legend, period.

dravid get well soon otherwise we will miss you, the wall of cricket.guys please do not write any messages that hurt the real cricketer and his fans. Remember he has done lot for cricket and he should be given freedom to decide his destiny. He is not like other cricketers who celebrate for even a small things they do around. Mani.

Really, No other player comes close to Dravid in any of these qualities… Patriotism, technique, temperament, integrity, consistency
Sachin is also good in all these. But in batting talent, he is better than Dravid. That is why he is considered so great. But in my opinion, Dravid is an equally great legend.

sachin is a attacker and he cant keep quitefor so long against the marauding pace attak of westindies of earlier SA AND AUS in foriegn pitches.sachin is best in odi and good in tests dravid is better than sachin in tests and good in odis(dont forget he has also made more than 10k runs in odis also)

Dravid himself admits Sachin is greatest, so let's not go there. But yes, Dravid is one of the best on and off the field personality. All the youngsters can learn how to behave and take success and failure in life from him.

I agree. The Great WALL is an unsung Hero because of keeping low profile and being contemporary to other great players Sachin and Saurav in the same team.
