Public can easily visualize the politics by selectors. Its really rubbish selection. Selectors cannot justify dropping of praveen kumar and Abishek nayar...Praveen kumar is the best bowler from India in the series and Abishek nayar didn't even got chance. Selectors cannot justify selection of murali vijay to ODI, because he doesnt have that track record in ODIs. Horrible politics at the highest level, I cant even imagine politics in lower level of Indian cricket setup.

Praveen Kumar may be better than some others that I cant think but he is not a good bowler. If by good, you mean military medium short pitch bowler that any decent batsman can whack for boundaries, then yes he is a good bowler.

Nehra got hit recently, Ishant sharma and sreesanth are expensive from quite a long time. I never seen praveen kumar whacked by batsmen, just that he doesnt have that much pace shouldnt hinder is selection.

Srikkanth has a strong belief that after 1 or 2 years, TAMILNADU will get the status of a COUNTRY and it will have its own international team. this is the why SRIKKANTH is picking tamilnadu players.
he is trying to give international exposure to his tamilnadu cricketers so that when tamilnadu will play as an international team it should have some players having some experience in INTERNATIONAL CRICKET.

Karthin proved his worth in the SA series so far.If Vijay and Ashwin not played well,they will be easily out.Why you are not raising any question about Ishant and Nehra both are at worst form?

I have no issue with karthik & ashwin, both are good ODI players but my question is WHY VIIJAY is picked for ODI team. is he better than MANISH PANDEY?

He is slected just bcos sachin and sehwag are rested... he is not a permanent player... moreover even for sachin it took 71 matches to make his first century. so dont cry

but there are some other players who have better record and performance in limited over cricket. VIJAY may be a very good test batsman but his batting is not suited for ODIs

I guess u are talking about pandey... he has to prove yet more in Ranji, the team is selected based on Ranji and not on IPL perf.
