Fellow countrymen,pls stop crying over the selection process. We used to do even when India was doing so poor a few years back. Today we are No.1 Test and No.2 ODI team. Dhoni may be there by fluke but the team is doing good.So just enjoy the game and leave rest to BCCI.

This 1 and 2 are just illusion for a short while because all other teams are preparing hard for next year's world cup rather than paying attention to rank. You could look into new look squads of Australia and New Zealand. Problem areas for Indian team are still intact. If you think high performance of Sehwag, Tendulkar or Dhoni is sufficient enough for us to win WC for us then don't forget that these were with us in last world cup also and 2 of them had been playing for last 3 world cups. These are our strengths but we need to work on our weakness i.e bowling, fielding and fitness. Selectors are just playing passing the parcel between Sree, Munaf, RP, Nehra and Pravin Kumar and not really looking for other options. See all 5 of them are there in 30.
Notable absentees to me are Irfan Pathan from Baroda, Ajit Agarkar from Mumbai, Sreewats Goswami from Bengal, Luv Ablish from Punjab and offcourse E Darwin from Rediff because Dhoogi (Dhoni) is playing in his place. :-)
I don't know on what credentials RP Singh and Piyush Chawla are there.

Do not talk of Ajit Agarkar. He should have announced his retirement before Brett Lee did that. Agarkar - the all-rounder who has never done anything with the ball or the bat.

Perhaps you tried to find his records in Hockey or Tennis. He is a Cricketer. Only Indian who scored century at Lords on very last day. Bowler who got fastest 50 wickets in one days. Hero of historical Adelaide test in the year 2003. Moreover one of the consistent performers with both bowl and bat in this year's Ranji trophy.

Just found out that darwin is from ranchi.He was overlooked by Jharkand selectors in favour of dhoni.Since then he has been anti-dhoni.Please tolerate and forgive him

Take sachin Tendulkar. Seeing performance In last T20 WC, Sachin Tendulkar may be a good option because he can stabilize the innnigs also his strike rate is also good. although he has deined from taking part in the WC for country's sake the BCCI can pesuade him to return in T20.
NOT A SINGLE PLAYER FROM ASSAM AND JHARKHAND,THE TOPPERS FROM EAST ZONE FOR MUSTAQ ALI T20 COMPETITION.. WHY NOT DHIRAJ GOSWAMI,SAURABH TIWARI,ISHANK JAGGI,PERVEZ AZIZ OR ABU NECHIM ? THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST T20 PLAYERS IN THE COUNTRY IT WAS ONLY A LIST OF PROBABLE,WHY NO PLAYER PICKED FROM ASSAM,ORISSA,TRIPURA,BENGAL,JHARKHAND...EXCEPT..EXCEPT..WRIDHIMAN SAHA..WHO IS NOT BETTER THAN ANY OF THE PLAYER MENTIONED ABOVE...

IF you consider yourself to be a true Indian then you shouldnt be pulling for one state over the other.You just proved that you are a bigot. BCCI is not running a Govt team, but a private one. And the best players it seems are not from the states you mention.

Sorry to say friend,its your blinkered vision..its only a projection...talent is everywhere.. Your statements are contradictory,one way you are saying that I should be true indian,otherway you are saying its a BCCI team.. Then why should every true Indian national cricket fan cheer for a private BCCI team ? Is the govt of India not given BCCI the authority to run and develop national cricket ? Is BCCI not getting Tax benefit from the government ? Is Sachin Tendulker a private property of a private BCCI team or a national hero ?

Surprisingly, the selectors chose to ignore all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who was the leading run-scorer (397 runs at 49.62) and wicket-taker (22 wickets at 18.54) for Baroda in the Ranji Trophy last season.

Guys we thought a genuine policy for selection India has got, but its well clear some one don’t want Irfan in team and played well so far, …. So its not a genuine Indian team and selection …. Who ever playing this from background really ssfucking the country?
Murli Vijay is not known to be a fit for t20. They could have considered some of the typical t20 players from ICL like TP sing or Stuart Binny. Irfan pathan is another notable omission.
