Playes are not dumb
by Shanmugam Pillai on Feb 19, 2010 09:52 PM

I think he is very straight forward to claim what the team did in last two years.it is not a joke to always win.I am very tired of listening expert comments like they are trying to creat sunsuny inevery statement theymake. They have very bad openion of senior players and see what happened at nagpur. Though it is their job but I still do not agree with their comments.

bajji bla bla

its too much of his bla bla. we have seen u a lot bajji dont act too smart. we know how he behaved with Srishanth, we know how he behaved with symonds. you cannot replace kumble, nor he is equal to the world's best like murali or saqlain for that matter even harris outplayed bajji in 1st test match. In this match it was pressure game, from 1st over of SA innings they were in defensive mood. If some one played little bit offensively and scored about 80 more runs than blocking the ball and occupying the grease. It would have ended in draw. Y he fails to appreciate Mishy. who bowled equally well, but unlucky to get wickets.

Anyone who has taken 35 wickets in Test Cricket and has won even 1 match for the country single handedly need not listen to fools like the ones commenting here. Guys we know which is the only ball you ever touch while the likes of Bhajji, Kumble, Mishra or even Hirwani, L.Siva, Chetan Sharma, Karsan Ghavri or anyone of their ilk has made some contribution to the sport. Guys like to sit in the sidelines and comment on anything and everything under the sun. What Bhajji did after taking the last wicket at Eden was pretty much whay anyone under intense pressure like him would do. Sadly, we all can sit in front of our computeres and say what we want while the ones who perform and do the country proud are expected to be humble, modest and machine like in their demenour. They must listen to all jokers who think they play for records, money, advertisement contracts, bollywood babes and such things that suits the writers memory at that time. India being the number 1 Test team in the world itself is enough egg, crow and dung on such peoples faces. Its time they do something worthwhile which at least gives them a chance to do at least their family members proud. For these kind of assess, even making their neighbourhood proud of them is a distant achievement. so let them stop talking abour cricket and cricketers.

He's getting too excited after one game.
by Maximus Meridius on Feb 19, 2010 09:40 PM

Cricinfo has run a nice piece on his poor form over the last 4 years. He has been bowling badly since 2006. He hasn't been picking wickets in home games (something Kumble did... it was guaranteed, almost. India owes the unbeaten record since 1990s at home mostly to Kumble).

This performance may well have been a flash in the pan, who knows. If I were Harbhajan, I would keep my mouth shut until a few more games. We are playing abroad next, and generally, offies are not very useful on foreign pitches.

BTW, what did he do against Bangladesh? It wasn't like he ran through their side!

Sanjay Kumar, u r the leader of the imbecils. Ups and Downs r part and parcel of everyone's life; and good days and bad days also apply to players. Or, I should take it for granted that u have had seen only success and no failures, never stumbled or fallen while growing up.

Either Dumb or Idiot
by sreenivasulu reddy on Feb 19, 2010 09:02 PM

The dumbs are Badri, Vijay, Karthik and Ashwin.
The idiot is Srikanth.

IN fact, Srikanth is planning a come back to play for indian cricket team.I believe he is going to be a back up opener. All Tamil Nadu players are getting selected based on "Back UP" Concept.
