Wasim, no purpose will be served thr such a step. The ICC needs to find out as to why such incidents are occurring in Pak team? Are they paid low salaries or are they psychologically vulnerable to such lures or are they threatened by the bookies bosses like Dawood, etc to do it else ...?

It is unbelievable that they can do this when they were let off from the earlier one after much difficulty. Cannot for the life of me understand as to why Mohd Amir and SALMAN Butt are sinking to such depths, they are destroying their own bloomong careers. Then that Asif, who had barely got out of so many scandals now finds himself in another one. His career was starting to bloom, but now....As for that Kamran Akmal, perhaps he does not know the meaning of shame.
However the tale of that bookie is also fishy, it needs to be looked into properly..
if..south africa was banned for some reason,,which infact tarnished the image of S.A only.. why not Pak SHLD BE BANNED WHICH IS TARNISHING THE IMAGE WHOLE CRICKET WORLD ..??WHY ICC IS NOT COMMING FORWARD &TEACH PAKISTAN A LESSON....?

India has climed to no 1 in test and num2 in odi Indians cricket team members are getting enough money for them to get tempted to forfieght a match
If they are to fix a match then it has to be a threat from underworld or the threat from BCCI of dropping players from the team! Players taking money is very very remote chance
there is also a chance that umpires have been acting in a biased manner so that a certain team qualifies or a certain team looses. This can be seen in a INDO Lanka match where the umpires went on giving decision against Indian team!!!
Which proves that the underworld could not "buy" the members of the team!!! but boughtout the umpires
