it does not depends on whole team ,it depends on individual .clearly it was sanga decision as he told something to randiv we can did the same while murali waitiing for his 800 .our players could get out by other way remeber an incident when kumble had taken 9 wickest against pakistan ,srinath bowling wide bowls waqar younis asked wasim akram to get run out but akram refused .he said if he can do let him so this way pakistani player played fare game
It's part of the game. there is nobody give u easy century to opposite player. no need to make contravesy on this incident. They will not allow to reball.
I remember an incident when India required 2 runs to win and Chetan Sharma needed 4 runs to get his maiden century. England set all the fielders in leg side and bowled offside to help Chetan get his century. This is my vague memory - may not be accurate.

That's cool to know.
Under pressure for having to bowl Pak batsmen out on 5th day, Rahul Dravid once declared when Sachin needed 4 runs to complete a double ton. This generated some discussions but the issue was reconciled I guess.

The issue was reconciled but, it should not have been made an issue in the first place... and the fellow who made it an issue... it's a known fact...
Hats off to Tony Greig...I appreciate his smartness when he clean bowled Sanga in the presentation ceremony...the embarrassment in Sanga's face was very obvious and Sanga really started stammering...
