With so many young guys performing so well, one wonders how miserably the Indian team performs at the world T-20 tournament in West Indies. With almost entire members strugling at IPL and add to injury factor and fatigue, I am forced to make this nagative statement. The T-20 IPL circus is both a blessing and a curse to the Indian cricket. On one hand it exposes new talent, on the otherhand exposes the huge racket in the name of bussiness and at the cost of national pride viz sending a team with too many punctures
You may call Bhajji a chamcha or whatever. But it is an undeniable fact that even now, Sachin is amongst the best 20-20 batsmen for India and if he wants to play, can win a place in the Indian side ON HIS OWN MERIT.

with due respect to your views & sachin's talent, would like to ask one question, what about sachin's fitness; in last match against CSK , sachin had to go back to pavilion in middle of his innings;Sooner or later we have to look for an alternative for Sachin; sooner the better for India; and one important point is India has won T 20 world cup in 2007 without Sachin;

T-20 version of cricket is a fluke. Any team can win against any team at anytime! The best example is IPL where a no-8 team can beat no-1 team. This doesn 't happen in ODI or in tests frequently. It 's ok once in a 100th match. India did really win T-20 World Cup without Sachin, what about an ODI tournament? They haven 't still won a single one in which Sachin hasn 't played! I don 't remember a single one, do you?
Actually when Sachin decided he will not take part in T20 World cup. That time MR DHONI was trying to humilate the senior players Sachin,Ganguly,Dravid,Kumble & Laxman. So because of that reason for there self respect All decided to not take part in T20 world cup. Dhoni & selectors has to say soory in public for that , I hope then sachin will decide to play for country.

Mr gupta if sachin, ganguly, dravid, kumble and laxman did not play T20 world cup for self respect as dhoni was trying to humiliate the senior players why did they only refuse to play T20 world cup? why not tests and one days also?

Dear Mr. Gupta
I am also a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar, but this is to remind you if you had forgotten. India has won the first T20 WC in absence of sachin and in captainship of Dhoni. Dhoni is having a great respect for him and useless peoples like u are unnesessarily raising these kind of useless issues.

I support Rajeev,Dhoni had a great respect to Sachin.Dhoni said I brought up with cricket by watching Sachin...how can Mr.Gupta makes a useless comment...even dhoni balances dressing room well and stay cool

Hell! Dhoni has no respect for Sachin but only he can't do anything about him. Remember, in Australia when nobody was doing anything special in league matches but Dhoni said "senior player, either fire or retire" Sachin was the lone senior there. There are instants when Sachin (and even Sehwag)did well but dhoni had a limited words of praisment for him but when his fellow Yuvi did well he's all over for him. He is jealous of Sachin's fame, mate! Believe it or not!

i do agree with Naveen, Dhoni is bit Jealous on sachin. He almost denied Sachin that double hundred against South Africa.Situation of 1st T20 world cup and upcoming one is totally different.Considering the current form Sachin should rethink about his decision.

Well, why not Chatur represent India in T20 world cup, if he feels sachin is overrated?

What is he trying to tell now. We all know Sachin is not interested in World Cup T20. Chamchagiri has a limit. Bhajji instead of worrying about Sachin non-participation, concentrate on your own bowling and batting and help India to win T20 this time. That will be something Indian fans deserve for the support they have been giving you guys all this time.
Leave Chamchagiri to someone and prepare yourself for the World Cup.
Re: bhajji... pls stop this chamchagiri
by Venkat Bhat on Apr 09, 2010 10:53 AM
I don't think Harbhajan summoned press and issued these statements. Instead, in a post match scenario (in which mumbai indians won)when asked for his comments on Sachin's non availability for T20 world cup, he is effusive in his praise of sachin and made these comments. It is an undeniable fact that Sachin is respected by almost all crickets in the world for his achievements on the field and his conduct on and of it. So, Harbhajan has not indulged in chamchagiri, but may be he was just stating the fact.
...Sachin haters would have had some chewing gum to chew upon. Now that Sachin is not playing the WC, they will have to find someone else to blame for "not being able to win the WC for India".
Re: Had Sachin played...
by naveen dhanerwal on Apr 09, 2010 08:24 AM
nopp, they won't find anyone but again Sachin! He didn't play in T20 WC for India because of money reasons. If he doesn't like T20 then why is he playing in IPL or so..... Sachin haters do spend a lot of time thinking how more can they criticize him! Poor guys!
