If he is in top form, India will win the champions trophy...if he is in poor form, India will not do well.....

I don't have any doubts that our bowlers would click in SA...i'am worried that biggest trumpcard Sehwag is not there....too much dependence on Sachin and Yuvi.......frankly, i don't expect much from Dhoni in SA......

Kiran, Rahul Dravid is Most technicaly sound batsman in India, but after T-20 Our & other teams are doing Very High Score. To achive those score, it is nesseessery to bat with high runrate, dravid is a little slower by his technic. Now he has to change his Nature of Batting in ODI games
Re: Re: Dravid

cobra,Dravid seems to have changed his batting style as we have seen in IPL 2009 so i think that he may fasten up his pace.

Agreed, but IPL was partialy international, where every team have atleast 2 weaker bowlers. boundries were shorter. In champion trophy u find every team have five good bowler, better fielding & biger boundries. more importantly u have to field 50 overs & possibly bat for a long time. thats make a littlebit difficult for dravid

So long as he does not get bogged down in the middle overs....because unlike 4 or 5 years back, we now have plenty of hitters to take advantage of over 31 to over 50.....
So, he has to score at a strike rate of over 70 at a minimum...

But this is SA where the wickets seam and swing both....i personally think that he will not do well in SA.....

he is very sound so it will not matter to him. his record overseas is better than home record.

But he is making a comeback after more than 2 years....also, we are in a very difficult group!!
Kept my promise made to a few bloggers that i can get anyone'e email ID if i want...people laughed at me! This is authentic and this is the email ID that he uses regularly!!
Now i'll get Sachin Tendulkar's email ID and if possible even Dhoni's email ID...

Ramji u r right it doesn't matter but some people use fake ids and abuse others .That is not good
Dhoni, who was the ODI Player of the Year in 2008, has been nominated for the Cricketer of the Year, Test Player of the Year and ODI Player of the Year. A hugely successful phase resulted in 544 runs from eight Tests at 54.40 and 967 runs in 24 ODIs at 60.43.
