a matter of introspection
by monisankar misra on Nov 11, 2009 04:19 PM

its time our media should also become little bit responsible. only one win by india creates so much of hype in the media thatthe players start thinking themselves as God. india lacks consistency in winning matches and do not desrve to be at the top of ODI ranking. hype created by media makes the heads of players go round. indians have to start thinking if most of the players deserve such hype and credit. on the otherhand Aussies have proved that they can beat india in indian soil with even a depleted team. this is not only a matter of shame but also introspection for the media, spectators , selectors and the so called highly valued players of our country.

Strange Indian Fans:
by LG on Nov 11, 2009 04:15 PM  | Hide replies

Case I: In CT, Dravid was in the team and Sehwag and UV were not in the team. Indian did poorly and was out in knock out stage.
Reason given by people here: we lost because Sehwag and UV were not in the team.

Case II: Current series against Aussi: UV and Sehwag were there but Dravid was not in the team. We lost the series badly.
Reason given by people: Dravid was not in the team.

So, the conclusion is such people are pathetic souls and do not want to see the truth---in a team game, a team can win only by collective efforts and Indian team lacks that.

Why is there no collective effort?
Because players like Doobhi, UV, Jadeja, Bhaji, and youngsters are interested only money. These players have no passion for game as well as country, they only play to keep maintain their market values.

Poor fans of these cricketers cannot understand that they are being cheated and treating as fools.

boneless tongue turns left and right with no shames in no time Got it? our players are looking for excuses only. not looking for solution. as what kapil said, no game planning. 100% truth. aussies had the plan and have won it. that is called spirit.

From both cases i can conclude that India can win series only if Sehwag, Yuvi and Dravid are playing together ..right?

No. You can conclude that the people who are supposed to be playing (i.e. who have been included in the playing eleven on the given day) SHOULD actually play and not just "show up". :)

Every other day we all write so much against our team. Do not forget it is no.2 team & is fighting hard to be no.1 . It is not so bad team, had it been a bad team then India will rank 8th 9th in World. Support your team.

I agree with Bafna.

Who empowered the the rowdy maratha politician to dictate terms in mumbai ..on what/how people eat /Speak/sing etc..

We will speak in language which is comfortable to us .

Who the heck is "Raj Thackrey" to dictate councel us ....

1.) He should stay in in mahrastra & never launder in rest of india as people are very angry with him.

2.) Why he is not arrested for disturbing the democratic fabric of the country.

3.)Marwaris & Gujarathis are running all the business in Maharastra & giving employment to locals? Is is not Good enough?

4.) Most South Indian are leaders of business houses ? Should they reconsider employing marathis...

5. Should all business houses move out of Mumbai- Aditya Birla, TATA's, Ambnis, Mittals, Air India, HDFC, ICICI etc...

It that happens...mumbai will be left with only Marathis.

Please Think & Ponder & through out such a leader.

Protect our Religion & Country !!!

Do you feel the comments of Dhoni for Tendulkar innings in Hyd one day were justifying and appropriate for the Super batsman's innings. Didnt he do the best he cud? and did Dhoni do himself in that match?

they ignored the wall dravid and yusaf pathan now have to pay the penalty for that. What did they gave lot of chances to ishant sharma. We know he is a talented young young pacer, but he is not in his best form. We already kept bowling coach out of the team. Now for this poor performance of the bowlers who do we keep outside mr.kristan
