In one calendar year each team should play ODI - 30 to 40 Test - 12 to 15 T-20 - 5 to 10
Cricket - 125 days Rest days between matches(Assume 2 days between 2 matches) - 130 days Off days - 110 days(In which player can play in IPL and give time to their family)

IPL is too long. One country's domestic tournament has taken 40 days of cricket calender. Too bad.

In Football there are 20 Teams as against 8 teams of IPL and they not only play league games, they also paly domestic cups.
3 bilateral Test series of 3 matches each 3 bilateral One day series of 5 matches each 3 bilateral T-20 series of 2 matches each (ie one bilateral series = 3 test, 5 oneday and 2 T-20) Max two triangular one day series One IPL One Champion leage and Chmpions trophy once in two year T-20 world cup once in 2 year One day world cup once in 4 years
its high time tht all the test playing nations to look at test cricket. it has lsot its value and even fans in west indies, england. new generation not interested in such a long version. show me the sports that span 5days. who has time in today world. cricket is religion in Indian sub continet and hence yoou get lot of veiwers but if you want to make it big, then T20.. why football is followed more widely in england, the reason it is over in 3 hours. if you still consider the test & odi, then you should read what west indian captian has said recently..
ODIs have already lost appeal. I dont think anyone would be interested in sitting around for 8 hours a day and be disappointed their team lost at the end of the day. Also the overs from 20 to 40 are boring as batsmen try to take singles and the field is wide spread out. T20 is much more entertaining and has more bang for buck. The whole match is over within 3 hours or so. For real cricket fans, there are always the test matches which test skill and technique.

All three formats of the game are good. As a cricket fan I love to see all formats of game. But because T-20 is not a format to test a player skill so I will rate ODI over T-20.

I differ from your opinion... In fact, it is the T20 which will test a player's skill more than any format.... You got to be innovative to come unscathed in T20... If you are just confined to text book shots, you will perform well in Tests and might just scrape through in ODIs but not definitely in T20s. You need to be innovative and thats where the test to your skill lies

Asnodkar was star in last IPL while looked a very ordinary player in this IPL. A good player will be always good in ODI and Test format while in T-20 format any ordinary player can become good for a series.

I am not talking about just a series perspective. Anyway, Asnodkar failed because of his obvious disadvantage - HEIGHT!!

I differ from it. I would like to see Ponting, Sachin, Gambhir like players to make hundreds in ODI and Test rather than players like Asnodkar, M.Pandey, N.Ojha in T-20.
20-20 is entertaining for fans of cricket then what is your problem....in the 70's did you guys stop ODI's. phuck tests 20-20 is real cricket as we fans enjoy it the most.......who has time to watch a ODI for 7 hours forget 5 days of a test match
ICC should carry out analysis, a sort of SWOT on T20-20. (a) How many players who made debut in 20-20 since itc introduction are still playing for respective countries. (b) How many players have got nod in test teams for their countries. There is no doubt 20-20 is money making machine. but its players have short shell life. They will perish fast. ICC has to decide only money is imp or the players also equally imp. for ex in India we had Joginder sharma-he is not seen now who played 20-20 world cup. uthappa ruined his natural game thanks to 20-20.

Here is your SWOT analysis and results are heavily in favour of 20-20.
Strength = Immense popularity, money!!!! Weakness = None! Opportunities = Plenty! People are ready to watch, sponsors are ready to put in money! Threats = None
