There's an article on Times Of India website containing comments from Glenn McGrath. Its touching the way he speaks his mind after what he's gone through.I'm not at all related to him,but I can't see any sense in not giving a chance to a performer like him who has left no doubt in his abilities for over a decade. He said they doubted my fitness.Absolutely disgusting. We've got the likes of Sachin.Gilchrist,Hayden coming out all guns blazing, and fitness? What was there to lose had McGrath been given a chance in one of the league matches which didn't matter seeing that DD were at the top most of the time? It's shameful when McGrath said I might not return in IPL 2010,and I personally won't be surprised if that happens.I feel for him.He says he feels fitter than last year, but he never got a chance to prove that.Maybe, just maybe Delhi paid the price for doing that.

Even if whatever he believed was wrong, why not give him a chance to prove that??What's there to lose?He could have countered Gilchrist effectively, seeing the Aussie habit of delivering on the big days.

Right, Sarthak. Personally, I see some ego clashes, though I cannot vouch for it. Some old time on-field rivalry could be the reason.

Yups, It was heartening to read that. I am sure many other teams would be ready to have him including KKR.

Yes,in fact in my message I was about to include what others think could be the reason McGrath was overlooked.I can't see anything other than politics or ego-clash.It could have something to do with Sehwag or something.I'm not sure.Whatever it was, they treated him very badly.Nannes was one of my favourites throughout the league, but McGrath could have been better.Specially when it mattered.

Tingu boss fans were shouting before the IPL and when he made that 50 in the first match all of them shouted, that was a pedestrian fifty with 110 strike rate, tingu can never play at 150 strike rate.
jaffer should become opener for pandey giving solid opening partnership jaffer capable like gilchrist match winning big innings capacity shadab great left hand bowler better for vettori today proving for chennai team very interesting semifinal match today

Jaffer is capable like Gilchrist ? You are out of your mind. Jaffer will bat entire 20 overs and struggle to make 20 runs. RBC is doomed if they pick him for the SF.

You get out of here Fuckruddin. This moron will be happy if the playing 11 is full of muslims. That's what he wants.Fake son of a jehadi.
Gilly is amazing. It was like watching the old Australian team play again. They were fearless and took the attack to the opposition and defeated the opposition fair and square and left them stunned. This is what happened to DD yesterday. They had no clue how to respond to the Gilchrist attack just like many bowlers had no idea how to respond to the champion Aussie team under Steve Waugh and Ponting. The present team doesnt have anything on the previous Aussie team. Indian cricket team will do well to learn from these stalwarts and their fearless style of play.
Tingu boss must take a cue from these aussie greats, hayden and gilchrist that runmaking is not the important thing but how u make is important.Shame on this greedy swine who is hell bent on paying his EMI's for his bungalow at the cost of the team

Well Said my dear. Batting to win tournaments and bring accolades to the country. Not that he should bat for his own records and save money for his generations. Having played 20 years of cricket he should commit suicide after watching such wonderful batting.

Even cant fit to commit suicide. He would degrade others who have commmitted earlier.

how u came to know..u must be also a super begger means manager of begger grp.
In yesterday match Gilly has given a good lession to all the hard hitters of DD (Shewag, Gautam, Warner, Dilshan, AB DE Villers). He saws his great class today. I hope that our hard hitters perfom the same way as gilly did and defend the T20 WC title.
