Dude if you are looking for real journalism or news better visit sites the bbc, financial times,Forbes etc or if you are only concerned with Indian news then there is DNA, times of india etc... rediff is fun portal which allows you to kill and enjoy your time here... This unexpected win of Mumbai has thrown a lot of permutations and combinations for semi-final berths.
It would be interesting to see if Mumbai can hold this win to reach semis.
After this loss, Punjab really looks out of sorts. They need to re-group and should win all the 3 matches. If they lose in the next game they're out of contention provided CSK,DDD and DC maintain their winning streak.
I think then it boils down to RR and Mumbai Indias for the semi-final berth.
This is the expected fight for semis but you never know as one win or loss could trigger a whole lot of new permutations and combinations as teams are so close in the points.
My guess is, DDD, DC, CSK and Mumbai Indians would make it to the semis. I say this because RR down with their batting. If smith goes, they have really hard time in chasing even smaller totals.

RR don't deserve to be in the semifinals....some of their play in this IPL has been the worst form of mediocrity seen in this format....
Had it not been for the heroics of Yousuf Pathan, they would have lost all their matches, except the one against Kings 11 where they made 211....
The teams that deserve to be in the semis are CSK, DDD, DC and MI....even BRC have an outside chance while Kings 11 have been so inconsistent that they would not give a serious fight to any team in the semis...
So, from the IPL point of view, the best 4 teams are DDD, DC, CSK and MI and i hope that these 4 make it......

Reports suggest that Ajit Agarkar was abused by Andy Bichel(an ordinary former bowler of Aus in my opinion) as "You Indian" when asked why he was asked to come off the field....this is pathetic....still SRK is allowing these useless coaching staff of KKR to run riot???????????? I now agree with Gavaskar that owner of KKR is being milked by the coaching staff of KKR who are like murderers.

These Aussies who are basically descendents of convicts should be banned from the IPL, their visas should be revoked and they should be banned from entering India again. We should teach these lowly Aussies the power of Indians. BAN THEM NOW!
