There was the big news in newspapers that Neeta Ambani has decided to stay in South Africa , in spite of her kids exams,to make sure her team wins matches in IPL.
The result was clear. Punjab batsmen got out so cheaply, and the way captain Yuvraj threw away his wicket, nobody had doubt that there was a deal between Neeta Ambani and Preity Zinta. Also, Punjab bowlers bowled so nicely that Bravo and Tendulkar had an easy time. Tendulkar after a series of single digit scores in this tournament suddenly sparkled.
Overall, except for Mumbai fans, spectators were betrayed by this fixed one sided match to help the team sponsored by India's richest person and corporate house.

honest I don't think cricketers of Grade A can take a chance of fixing the match or part of the fixing...

If the winning team in yesterday's match was chennai then this s shrikanth may have hail the captaincy of Ms Dhoni & performance of the team but as the winnig team is mumbai it makes s shrikanth difficult to digest.

if neeta ambani can fix match with money she could have been done in IPL season I (2008) and instead of Rajasthan Royals Mumbai Indians would have been won IPL season I final
The newswriters and the media has lost its head... How on earth do u need to hail Harbajjan for taking ONE wicket?? Such media reports only discourage other players who have taken 2 and 3 wickets in the same match... May be the author is a die hard fan of this idiot called "harbajjan"

yeah my below message is also about my dissatisfaction of giving the MOM to bhajji....
Harbhajan just took 1 wicket...although he was consistent I think Bravo's knock of 70 in 59balls was more crucial and he took off the pressure from Tendla....
if econonomy is the key for MOM decision then JP Duminy has also done good bowling in todays match...15 runs in 4 overs with wickets of Yuvi and Mota...dismantling the middle order...
I also disagree with the MOM given to JP Duminy rather Rahane in the match agaist RCB....Rahane came after tendla was duck out(5/1) and made 62 of 49balls and JP Duminy came at 53/2 at 8th over...and made 59 of 41 balls...now tell me who is the better choice for MOM
Also for the match between DDD vs MI
Nehra took 2 wickets giving 27 runs in 4 overs
AM Nayar in the 17th over Bhajji in the 19th over...
Where as Devilliers made a crucial knock of 50 in 38 balls and made sure he stays till the end..he came when the score was 46/2 with the loss of Gambhir and warner...Dilshan on the other end was struggling to make runs and he did the crucial contribution....
Like wise I saw many goof ups in the MOM decision???? your comments pls....

Comments! Bhajji did well and was worth os a MOM. In a T20 game if you give away just 9 runs in 4 overs and grab a wicket, you are worth of praising. Punjab made just 119, so target was never been a tough one with the batting line up Mumbai have. On Nehra's MOM, though the scorecard shows he took only 2 wickets giving away 27 runs but if I'm right there were 2 or 3 catches were dropped on his bowling. Jury, who take the decision on MOM observe all the things that happens in ground. Yeah, sometimes we thing otherwise, though!
This is spoiling the image of the country. If foreign players are to withdraw nobody will watch this. This is professional cricket. You should get out if you can't perform. But these guys go and whine. The captain and coaches are under pressure and when they take some decisions you should go by that. we have plenty of talents to replace weak hyped guys. jadeja is another loser.

the batting was supposed to be able to score 119 runs. the bowling was superb which restricted a good batting side like punjab to 119...... to give up only 9 runs in four overs is extraordinary.

Yes. The match was sold after 10 overs. Punjab batsmen, particularly captain Yuvraj, getting out with no brainers one by one and then scoring just 9 in last 4 overs is enough to tell that the match was already sold out. The body of Punjab players right from the beginning was negative and it clearly looked like they are just playinbg the match for a formality.
