Let sachin play for another 5 years and break all batting records and become the world's No.1. I am saying this because he is only Indian who is capable of breaking records. I did not find any other batsman who can create records like sachin. If any other player is capable of creating records then let sachin retire. I know that he is not playing like how he was playing in 90s. Now his average also is dropping down. I want him to play because he entertains people with his records. People who are interested to see more & more records from an Indian batsman should allow him to play whether he plays or not. He should play only for creating records. He has done a lot to indian cricket. Not its time to create records. He has recreated almost all batsman records. But still i think he should gets more and more runs so that no other country batsman should reach him in the near future, atleast for another 20 years. Then we, Indians also can show other cricket playing nations that "see we have a record holder in our indian cricket team". So let him play for another 5 years. Even now i don't feel that any other player can fulfill his position in the team. He has a lot to do in the team. He is even acting as a coach for junior team members. Overall he is an asset for Indian Cricket Team. We need to preserve him. So let him decide and retire whenever he feels tired. I have not seen such a great batsman with huge talent in a game of cricket. Everyone should accept that he is a GENIUS.

Ricky Ponting is just an Australia media creation, The only gr8 innings that he has played was in finals of 2003 world cup :-)

similar to sachin tenedulkar .. he has more ton in less matches compare to sachin.....
All guys here are wasting their time on rediff posting useless stuff. That is the reason wjy India is a poor country with unemplyment, frustration among youth.
You must take some lesson from US people. Every guy plan to start his company and dream of ecoming million and all u guys keep posting crap here.
Shame on all of you. Take a lesson from me and leave this forum at once and do some innovative stuff that is useful for society and for oneself.

Don't write all this crap. We all know how USA is reeling under recession courtesy all US newpapers on the net. People are not able to meet day to day expenses , retired people have to work 2 shifts to have a decent meal a day and premature closure of morgages etc etc. If Americans are good at planning how coma they are the worst affected in this world wide recession. By the by, tell us what useful and innovative stuff have you done for the society?

Ricky pontiong not child now.ponting is already 35 yrs. ponting is played next two three year sachin is played next two three year. ponting scored six seven centries, sachin sachin scored seven eight centuries because sachin is great.

I think ur a bigger fool coz even ghost acknowledges that these above players may achieve these single records but Sachin Tendulkar will achieve all of the above recoerds combined :-)
