What is wrong even if Kambli has said what was reported abt Sachin. Sachin never backed Kambli which fact should be appreciated as a player like Kambli should know that talent is the only key to success. He can not expect someone use his influence for him. Disappointment when expectation is too much is expected. Kambli ur time is long over. Now keep ur mouth shut and don't talk abt cricket any more.
Vinod Kambli was a gifted talent who can be compared to Shahid Afridi - Mohd yusuf was really patient with him though he went thru a lean patch in batting for 3 years. As compared, nobody supported Vinod Kambli... he failed in a few tests, and was suddenly cold-shouldered even by Sachin. Incidentally, had Sachin put his body weight behind Vinod, today Kambli would have been in the same league as of his! Ah, a talent that could never blossom / allowed to blossom. The only true captain in India who allowed youth to flourish was Dada (Saurav). Others like Sachin, Azhar were just too neutral to take risks and be on wrong side with BCCI.

All said and done, Talent is nothing without Hard work, Discipline, Determination. The 3 things Kambli lacked. You cannot depend on others to make your life success. He was never focussed enough.
