Vinod Kambli was a gifted talent who can be compared to Shahid Afridi - Mohd yusuf was really patient with him though he went thru a lean patch in batting for 3 years. As compared, nobody supported Vinod Kambli... he failed in a few tests, and was suddenly cold-shouldered even by Sachin. Incidentally, had Sachin put his body weight behind Vinod, today Kambli would have been in the same league as of his! Ah, a talent that could never blossom / allowed to blossom. The only true captain in India who allowed youth to flourish was Dada (Saurav). Others like Sachin, Azhar were just too neutral to take risks and be on wrong side with BCCI.

all u mumbaikers, pls pls think for 2 minutes before u reply. sachin was always insecure with kambli, kambli scored his 1st odi ton in 2 odi match. where as sachin took 85 odi. kambli got 2 double tons in 4 test matches sachin took 13 test matches (1 yr.) sachin was always insecure with kambli. kambli was out of team under sachins captency who knows the game will understand now

Your hypothesis is flawed:
First the facts: Sachin scored his 1st ODI century in his 78th ODI, the reason being that Sachin only started opening 10 matches before that. Prior to that Sachin used to bat at no.5 and the top order was pedestrian. He scored his 1st 200 in Tests against NZL in 1999.
Kambli scored his 1st 100 when he was batting at no.3. Kambli scored 2 double hundreds on a trot against England and Zimbabwe followed by a 100 against Sri Lanka. He was talented but in disciplined.
When Sachin was named captain for the ODIs in Sri Lanka, he asked for Kambli to be brought back into the team.

You are a fool. No doubt, Kambli was a talented batsman, but he was not at all disciplined and so could not succeed. But Sachin had both talent and discipline - and so he succeeded.

Poor man only can remember frindship but not the Rich man. Because he become rich man, he is holding his place eventhough he had to retire and give his place youngsters and poor man as like sachin at his 16 years age. do you the number of combacks made by Kambli due to influence of Sachin? and each time he failed. whose fault was that? Do you believe that there are only two players in India? Do not simply blame others for Kambli's failure..

indian ghazi, dont talk rubbish, thsi has nothing to do with any cause, BTW, sachin generaly prefers to talk in his mother tongue when he plays for mumbai. yrs is the stupidest comment ,any ways cant blame u, it shows the pedigree u r
with recent budget the standard deduction raise only 10000 more. i.e. 1,60,000
it is very difficult to stay in any city now a days because of cost,( Dal, Petrol, rent, transportation ) Govt should raised it to 2,50,000. kindly make this isse and suggest govt.
