Balaji will definitely better utilize this opportunity...provided selected in playing eleven.. He is a match winner and he has contributed in sensational match wins againts paki.. All the bests this time Bala
Best for National integration is 1)To take 1 player from each state....simply forget about winning 2)India shud register with ICC as 5 zones ie North,south,east,west & central Ha Ha

As soon as Srikant became selector Balaji from south got the chance. What about Dhawal Kulkarni or RP Singh? Balaji's has no pace or swing left in him. He only relies on some variations. That can be useful in T20 Only where 8 an over is decent...but not in 50 overs. And given his fragile body...he's not the one for the future. Next they'll call Nehra...if someone from Delhi becomes the chief selector.

You don't need a Vengy or Chika or somebody to destroy Indian Cricket.... You i.e Dayanand, Parangat and ppl like you have almost done or doing it.

dhawal kulkarni is indias best domestic season bowler of india! why outdated balaji ? guys shrikantji wht r u doing ? its again dirty politics in players selection!

Who says Balaji is outdated. It is because of some undue favourism, he could not be regular with Indian team. Whenever he got chance he proved his selection.

on d basis of domestic cricket performance selector choosed ravindra jadeja den why nt dhawal ? he is young having pace, energy n always hungry for wicket ! i am talking abt his ability .....n the issue of balaji den i would like to ask u 1 thing if he got so many chance to prove himself he couldn't estabilished den why u bring this man "balaji" . i felt he always looking tired "thakela"

looking is different thing than the performance. Balaji has a good accuracy but he was always overshadowed. I hope this time it will not be happened

He is yet to play international cricket. Balaji has proved himself in the international arena. Who can forget his match winning efforts in Pak under Saurav ganguly, wher for the first time India won a series against Pak in Pak. He has loads of experience too. He is a handy bat at well. so you cannot crib about his inclusion. NO dirty politics here.

if u give him chance den he wl play international cricket naa ! u cant predict as per his past performance n as per d batting issue there is strong batting order ! i felt its a dirty politics ......chikaaa u r playing a game wth mumbai players ....shame......shame .....shame!

why always onyly mumbai players to play for Indian team, let others also play. As you said Balaji is old wine. But he too good a bowler than dhawal

its a long time ago...now he is bowling 110 120...what can he do...pick young and promising bowlers who can learn quickly and serve long term...see ishath shrma...

i agree wth u man . i am nt talking abt particular mumbai players .......indian team need young and promising bowlers like eshant sharma....u know he is find of mr. dilip vengsarkar ( ex selection chief of bcci)bcoz of him eshant got us nobody knows who is ishant before his selection .

Boss.. I don't know how much Srikant influenced Balaji's inclusion..but Dhoni captain of Chennai Superkings must have surely pitched in for Balaji....
