Ponting
by Arun Moitra on Feb 01, 2009 10:48 PM  | Hide replies

I am surprised to see how Ponting managed to hold his position and captaincy. Seems this Aussie selction board is full of more suck** even than indian selectors.

Moitra:

If you had watched the thriller, you wouldn't have spoken these utterly childish words....

Indian selectors and the Indian team have a long way to go..... and they probably deserve more level headed supporters than grumpy old geese like you who can't put a test match loss behind them till their death...

Aussies were never ever REAL champions
by s d on Feb 01, 2009 10:45 PM  | Hide replies

Australians are not and were never the world champions in its real meaning because-

1)They never play cricket in the true spirit of the game,

2) They always tried to win by hooke or crooke even though what they played, could not be called a game many a time,

3) They frequently won by using false appeals, delaying tactics, even false catches,

4) They were always supported by bad umpires full of the thought of 'white supremacy' and sometimes by partial umpires like Bucknor,

4) They call others as racists which really they themselves are,

5) They are a mentally retarded lot thinking only about themselves and have convinced themselves that even their wrong things are right,

6) They can't differentiate a game from a war, and they do not try to know that even a war has some ethics to be followed,

7) And when they lose, they are always reduced to weeping sissys resorting to personal attacks against the members of the winning teams,

8) They think that batting, bowling and fielding are not the main parts of the game cricket, but the main part is sledging,

9) If Harbhajan called one of them a monkey, it was not a right thing to do because monkies are more human than Australian goons.

NURSERY RHIME

Ponting always taunting,

Clark would bark,

Symmonds sitting on a tree & eating almonds,

Hayden fears a maiden,

Bret would fret,

Aussies weeping sissies.

For your flagrant and inconsiderate use of the word "always" in your message, you need to be sent to a good English grammar class... ;)

Obviously neither you nor your famous supporters on the forum cared to watch an exceedingly exciting match which a severely depleted champion side managed to convert into a thriller.....
Would have loved to see any other team defending a paltry 181 run total....

Pseudo, (that is what u r)

The difference between you and me is that English is not my mother tongue, but I do understand a difference between a/real" and a 'Fake' world champion!

181, 0r 1810, or 18100 does not make sense. While playing against Australia, Asian countries ALWAYS have a feeling that they are playing with cheaters, sledgers and offsprings of convicts! And this is really true too!

in fact, not only during ponting's unbeaten era of their victories in 2005(!), but even during the steve waugh era of unbeaten victories, they were helped by umps.

McCullum given wrongly out in the first over. Neil Broom was the other batsman given out when in fact, Haddin dislodged the bails. Is the third umpire sleeping while these glaring mistakes are occurring in the field?????????

Aussies are losing cause they don't have such umpires as Darryl Hair who blatantly favour them & still manage to remain in the ICC elite panel.

And what pray is allowing them to fight till the last ball?.... which mind you no other team would have done?...
With a score of 181, you'd have seen a thoroughly droopy shouldered bunch of sissies going through the fielding routine to get it over in 25 overs....

But still they are doing the same chetaing.Today Kiwi batsman was given out bowled when bails were actually dislodeged by Haddin!!!!!!!!(Can u believe it)....and no prizes for guessing who the umpires are.

BLIND BUCKNER(that slave is black to propel Aussies to the top) and OXENFORD(the 3rd umpire during Sydney test, who failed to pick up Symonds runout).........ever heard a 3rd umpire giving a wrong verdict,,,,,,,????????
