What a site it would be if Sehwag gets 400 and India bat on till lunch on 4th day to get 953 and break the record that Lanka set against india and then give Lanka 5 sessions to bat with a lead of 550. Another innings defeat awatit them - Cant wait to see if that happens.

yes I agree, we should do that to them, back then these bstrads had no sportmanship, they were only after record. umpire had to intervene and it was a compulsory declaration

Scoring 950 is not going to help. we should get a big lead. of 300 and then win the game. Winning test series 2-0 is better than scoring 950 runs. It will also show we have our priorities right as winning is more important than these records.

Aditya, I agree but how about having both together. Ofcourse, if 953 comes at the cost of victory I would always want the victory first unlike what Lankan's did when they made 953. With Viru on fire and if other batsman can score at 4 an over - we should get that score by Lunch on 4th day - leaving enough time to bowl Lankan's out in last 5 sessions of the match.

Alok, look at Sehwag's records. He has scored his two triple hundreds against Pak in Pak and SA in Chennai. Not Zimbabwe or Bangladesh. Sri Lanka is a decent test playing nation. Clubbing them with Zimbabwe and Bangladesh reeks of ignorance. Look at Sehwag's other 12 big scores of 150 including the scorching 195 in Melbourne against a full strnegth Ausie attack. Please check the facts before throwing wild claims.

Today I am flying very high because I witnessed Sehwag's innings at Brabourne stadium. He was aggressive,ruthless but at the same time cool & composed too. Looking forward to witness history tomorrow.
