RR should have tried Kohli as the opening batsman.Uthappa is completely out of form.Ryder,Kohli,Dravid,Peterson,Boucher will be threating batting order
RCB started the blunder work very early. They dropped Ryder from the playing 11.And they bought Kallis in the final 11.Wat a shame???The way Ryder smacks the ball and the way Kallis bats with ball touching the grass most of the time of it's process in clearing fence is quite a lot difference. Here we have a mediocre opening bowler from Chennai, good good batting wicket!!And wat does RCB do??Bring the craftsman like Kallis where they need some quality big hitter like Ryder.By the way opening with Kumar is more self destrcutive then bringing kallis in place of Ryder.Praveen certainly has single figure in minutes of occupying the crease.RCB is still not judging the wicket and haven't realised the importance of batsman on good pitch.

Kallis can be taken in place of Rose tylor. As per the batting skill is concern both are same. With kallis can by handy with bowl. Ryder,Kallis,Styn,Peterson should have been ok as foreign players

R.Taylor SR is 180 in T-20. Kallis should replace V.Kohli and Pankaj Singh/Bhuvneshwar Kumar should replace D.Steyn.

D.Steyn is flopped from last 2 games. I don't think he is handy T-20 bowler. He is expensive.

Yes he can play more. But yesterday he gave answer to this question. He has family responsibility and has no regrets on his decision. Same we can say for S.Warne who can get place in any team of the world.

S.Tait unavailability is a big blow for RR. Let see how Warne motivates their players. Mind says MI will win but heart says RR must win.

Mr. Anurag Rathore, MI could well have lost their opening match against CSK on Saturday. They were lucky that Abishek Nayar hit a blitzkrieg 35 from 14 balls and this in turn was helped by a rusty Freddie feeding him lollypops. If the success of Nayar and failure of Freddie were reverse, MI wouldn't have won.
I said before the start of the tournament and maintain now that it will be a herculean task for MI to reach the semifinals.
I cannot stop comments against this view but I have my own right to wait till the end of the tournament to be proved wrong.

My choices are RR, RCB, CSK and DD for semifinals. DC can be dark horse.

It's a prediction. Anybody can predict when tournament will proceed further. It's good to stay on your words from start. It's T-20 and anything can happen but I will stay on my 4 teams and back them.

in t20, it takes few balls to change complexion of game. so nayar innings is no exception. that is why t20 is fast and furious.
I was happy yesterday that CSK won their match against RCB. I am candid enough to admit that I am a diehard fan of Dhoni and his leadership. Though I am a Tamilian, I am not sure if I would have supported CSK if it was led by any foreign player or the likes of Badrinath. In fact I feel that there is no real place for players like Badrinath and Balaji in team CSK. Last year Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan appeared to play well. Perhaps they may try Murali Vijay who played one brilliant test match in the absence of Gambhir and acquitted himself well with his attitude.
Coming to the other side of the match, I was sad to see RCB lose the match, ironically though I wanted CSK to win.
My reaction after the match was that RCB could have done a few things better to make a match out of it. To begin with, it was wrong to drop someone like Jesse Ryder after just one batting failure in the match against MI. He did very well on India's recent tour to NZ and should be persisted with.
Viru-Gauti, Hayden-Parthiv, Sanath-Sachin show to the world how important it is to have a good partnership right at the top. RCB failed miserably on this count. They need to have a proper and settled pair of openers.
Dravid played excellently in the first match and one would have expected him to come at No.3. Kallis should have come in for Ross Taylor at No.4 and KP at No.5. This would serve RCB's batting better.
Well it is easy to be wise after the event. It is a game, let us move on.

Hope that the words reach to the concerned management and YES like KKR the RCs could emerge back to the top if players are managed properly. I feel that this time the DCs are the best probabilities to lift the trophy. They should be given a chase by the DDs,CSKs and the RRs. But personally I do hope that KKRs becomes the top team. This is cricket and that too of 20 overs a side so all options are open.
My friend in Bengaluru who kicked his TV while watching yesterday's match was amused when he saw long queues in every TV repair centres. Everybody had apparently punished their TV in anger since Chennai is every Bengaluru's favourite hating subject. One person had brought his TV in a gunny bag by collecting all the pieces after he dropped from his 8th storey. Luckily there was no one below at that time. One person had no damage at all and when asked he said he had poured all the Kingfisher beer which he had bought for celebrating on his TV. Since then the TV stopped working and now he is crying to get his TV fixed.
There are also unconfirmed reports of queues in hospitals where many people in Bengaluru complained of chest pain, injuries in leg after kicking TVs, getting current shock after kicking TVs, etc. Hope the people in Bengaluru along with Dravid, Mallya and Kumble recover soon.
