The man is so down to earth. No pretensions or airs about himself. This is rare among captains. what a contrast to Kumble who irresponsibly continued his captaincy despite an injury and ruined the team performance.Players should rest when they have injury . This way others also can get chance to prove themselves.
Last year this time around sachin missed the test series against SA when we got bowledout for 76 !!! and then came to play IPL now its dhoni turn .. before replying check records please ...

20-20 and test cricket is totall different. In test cricket, you must have the mental stamina to spend more than 3 days (batting and fielding) on the field. Only totall fit players shouls be allowed to play test cricket. Otherwise, it will affect team's performance. We already saw that when Kumble played with injuries and could not contribute much

What is wron with taht? IPL is onlt 20/20 and does not require a very high level of stamina and fitness like test. I would rather have Dhoni rest. This is the only way to use others in the bench.

In the 2nd test, there was no Dhoni. We almost won it after follow-on. NZ chose not to chase 163 in 15 overs, after we declared at 476-4.

Is this a joke?? India only just managed to save last game.. If India could not bowl out New Zealand in 150 overs in first innings in this pitch, how could you think that our bowlers would make them out in 15 overs? Come out of your dreams and be realistic.
