Afridi was a big flop in IPL. We know how disciplened he his and media and other poeple should just laugh it off and should not take it seriously. Afridi is not even good for Club Cricket.
This loser hardly even got to double figures in all the matches he played. All he did was walk down the wicket, irrespective of the match situation, conditions, or bowler and heave his bat away. He used to get out regularly get out in his first or second ball he was facing and this loser has the guts to say something about other cricketers. Shame on him. He should be picked off like a weed atleast now. It was so frustrating to watch him walk in and throw his wicket away as though he doesnt even care. I guess all pakis are similar to this annoying loser. Laxman is all class, one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Afridi is not fit to lick his boots.

one thing we have to digest is laxman is unfit for oneday and susrprisingly he is the captian for T-20. goodjoke. Look at rajastan royals, they played as a team and had an aggressive captian as warne, laxman is thanda khiladi, waise to aajkal laxman test mein bhi kuch khas kamal nahi dikhara.
Afridi is a more agressive cheater than Laxman. Laxman doesnt know the tricks involved in dancing on the pitches to tamper them. Neither does he foul mouth his opponents, nor does he beat up his team mates in the dressing room. So how can Laxman be a good captain?
I think Afridi is eager for captaincy. He wanted to become the captain of Pakistan, but it couldn't happen. Now he wish to become the captain in IPL. He took the name of Gilchrist for captaincy, but it was just a political statement from him.

afridi is not a player as certainty in the 11, or even in the 16, how can h dream of a being captain.

Laxman did only one mistake that he didn't send Afridi at 1-2 position in IPL. I think that decision hurted Afridi and now he is giving that kind of statements.

yes laxman should be standing out..at least in 50-50s and 20-20s..he cannot run... he cannot field, he cannot dive and pouches only those which come straight to him...so afridi is right. u must call a spade a spade

forget about the paki, what he wants and what he is doing, but the exposed truth is BBCI considered Laxman unfit for oneday, and because he is from hydrabad he is made captain for T-20. first he needs to be expertise in oneday and then come for T- 20

Afridi's statement notwithstanding, it is true that Laxman is not aggressive captain, in fact he is not even suitable for being a captain. Nor is he fit to play ODIs or T20s. Why is he made the captain of Deccan Chargers? He should not even be in the T20 team. He may be the most elegant batsmen in test cricket but not in ODI or T20.
Afridi's days are over, so he is talking like this. He should not tell all this in public, he doesn't have any right to say like this. Nowadays cricket is becoming more of like war of words rather than playing it. Yankie.

WHETHER LAXMAN IS GOOD OR BAD HE HAS NO BUSINESS TO COMMENT LIKE THAT. lAXMAN IS LAXMAN FOREVER. HE CANNOT BECOME ANOTHER MAN. HE WAS SELECTED AS CAPTAIN HE WAS LAXMAN.
I am not fan of Afridi and a big fan of batting talents of our own VVS Laxman. And I am not getting into whether Afridi is right or VVS is right or should have done something more on the ground. But still I do feel that Afridi just spoke his mind and that too when he was asked a pointed question. He just gave his view. For a Total commercial tournament like IPL what ethics VVS is referring? I am pointing out that Afridi just gave his opinion and no hard feelings. I am not sure if VVS would have same reaction if Gilly had said this or same was said in a better professional way. Again I am not fan of Afridi and may be he does not deserve to comment but I do not think he broke ethics and gave his honest opinion. On top of it, above is just my opinion and please look at it only that way.

very well said, now laxman is trying to hide behind afridi's comment. Mr.Laxman u were supposed to be the pride of Deccan, but now became Dhakkan.
Afridi conveniently forgot that Gilly was the captain for more than half the matches and that did not have any bearing on the team. He should watch his tongue before making stupid comments

true. laxman didnt play rest of the series. afridi who has not captained his side is preaching others to captain a side.
