Rubbish...
by Manu Zach on Oct 28, 2008 11:51 PM  | Hide replies

Even Cricket Australia and the Aussie cricket fans are not bothered about their team's performance. Then why should every to, dick and harry pass comments on a team which has won each and every trophy in world cricket (except of course the T 20 circus).
Come on guys... you are talking about Team Australia... not Team India which wins matches once in a while........

Exactly, we are talking about a team that has been sitting at the top of world rankings for decades. They can bounce back very strongly.. mohali was just a one off match..

India should ra^pe Australia tomorrow!!
by Devraj Khatri on Oct 28, 2008 11:21 PM

Cmon anil Kumble......show the same killer instinct that MSD showed in Mohali...go for the jugular right from ball 1 and somehow find a way to stop Hussey.....the rest will automatically give their wickets away..

All the best to Team India...jeet Lo Delhi!!

Ponting should not be too happy.....
by Ashish Kumar on Oct 28, 2008 08:44 PM  | Hide replies

Ponting should not be too happy even if they do better in the Delhi test or even win it. They would know in their hearts that the team fielded by India is not the one that defeated them.

Come on kid...Why talk about a different team ?? If the Aussies were with McGrath, Warne, Langer, Gilchrist, Martyn, Gillespie, etc... the current Indian team would have been smashed hammers and tonks...

are you sure?? The Aussie 'seniors' were gr8 but we have our own fab 5 and now that our pacers are much more improved, the oz would have just been a OLD losing team. I would never count out India with the 'experienced' seniors' especially at HOME!!

come on kid, with mcgrath, warne, langer, gichrist, martyn, gillespi, india thrashed australia at their peak in 2001. These aussies have never been able to conquer the final frontier, yes they did win in 2004 but india was a depleted side with the injury to sachin who did'nt play the first two tests, still aussies had a lot of luck in that series becoz the last day in chennai was rained off with india needing 200 runs with 10 wickets in hand. If india had won that match the series would have been level. Whenever they've come to india they've got a real hideidng. Their greatest ever bowler warne avgs about 48 here. Let's face it india at their own backyard are a tough proposition even for the all conquering aussies.

Factors contributing to win

As a team India came stronger. Clearly Dhoni has shown better leadership. Let us see how it works with Kumble.
