Wasim Jaffer - 20 off 35 Rahul Dravid - 53 off 156 (Wants to retain his average but also happens to be the wall. Tum ball daalte daalte thak jaayoge) VVS Laxman - 105 off 220 (Cameo as usual) Sachin Tendulkar - 35 off 50 (Its all about achieving records yaar and raking in the moolah.) Sourav Ganguly - 12 off 20 (Mujhe selectors ko ungli karne ka mouka dena hai. Prince tha, king of failures banke jaaoonga) MS Dhoni - 32 off 25 (Arrey mera focus to T20, ODI aur Advertisements hain. Zyaada shakti ki aadat daal lo) Tail will wag and collectively score another 100 runs.
The real positive change will actually be the Indian bowling. Although many experts are relying on spin, the young Indian quickies will give a good fast bowling dose to the Aussies. (But the Aussies still will make good scores and belt our bowlers all over). Ganguly definitely will get a chance with the ball and will pick up a wicket or two (Aussie tailenders though)

Thats good prediction but I doubt if ganguly gets any chance to play the test :P

I think the very fact they included him for the first 2 tests shows that they will play him. The selectors will try their best to show Ganguly that he can actually go gracefully.

arrey the thing abt Sehwag is that his score when it comes is a bonus. He fails umpteen times but then suddenly when he knows he is appraoching his test career dungeon, he will have a fantastic swashbuckling innings which kind of diverts our attention from past failures. Sehwag will have a high scoring innings but not in the first match for sure :p

he thing is tht thy don't want to sent Ganguly to Hell immediately. So the selectors given a chance for just 2 matches. Youngsters r waiting to get in to the Squad. 1. Raina, 2. Rohit, 3. Yuvi, 4. Virat Kholi, even Kaif.

India hopefully. If its the Aussies, then the Indian scorecard won't change much from the one above but just that the Aussies would have piled up around 500 in the first innings

dravid only believe in spending time on the pitch rather scoring. that put extra pressure on the batsman at the other end & in frustration he gives up his wicket.

Yes every one has to go, but Dhoni cant tell their future. Dhoni will not lead test team of India. He is not capable, he hardly scrore good amount of runs in tests. He is good for nothing when it comes to test.

Boss, the problem in india is that we are individual centric than team centric. We idolise certain players and we expect them to play on forever or till they themselves call it quits. Being human being, however, great a player one is, he is subject to normal injuries which any player would get. If ganguly is past his prime, the same thing applies to dravid, laxman and also sachin. Let us think practically and not go over the moon fooling ourselves that sachin is god and god would continue to play forever. What dhoni is saying is practical and logical and he has not sugegsted any time frame for them to go. So, there is no point in getting worked up by it. We need to look to the future. The youngsters played wonderfully in the match against the australians, so deserve chances which needs to be given sooner than later. This would ensure a smooth transition and ensure that indian cricket is in safe hands.

No body can touch his (Sachin) record not now not even in future, like that of Sir Don Bradman.

Sachin record hundread in test (If he able to break) will easily be surpassed by Pointing. Infact player in future will try to pass the record of pointing for most hundreads.

3 years is 1095 days. To play 150 tests, you need 750 days. To play 417 ODIs, you need 417 days. Both add to 1167 days, which is more than 1095 days in the cricket field.
