Looking into the popularity of Saurav Ganguli, I guess he will join CPM and will be strong contender for future Chief Minister. Thats why he is included to get some honourable moments before retiring.. This is guess only.. may become true..

Rajneesh Gupta you are a joke, dont write such crap and waste everyone's time... you useless jerk
One of the useless articles i've even seen on rediff...I mean what is that author is trying to prove or he doesn't have anything else to work upon? Since when an average of 47.69 has been poor? Is there any quality gate which can be applied before reports are published....think about this...

We will also send donkeys to attend the presentation farewell to this mindless editor of Rediff.
I dont know how rediff pays all these incompetent writers. As always this is another rubbish from them and they still count on the readers to enter their site. I mean, writing articles and criticising is fine, but without any sound knowledge of the game and whats happening around it, its baffling what are they going to acheive. Please refraing from writing articles Rajneesh. Even a 7 year old kid can write better than you.
I have seen a stat like this.Nayan Mongia on no:2 when Tendulkar is not there in top ten. This guys would've worked hard for days to find on where Tendulkar is not listed.By far Tendulkar is the best player against Australia not only from India but from any team in the world. You can even check the stats in Cricinfo. Also He tops both the tests and Odi stats when players from India and Australia are compared in matches b/w them.So please don't posts stupid stats like this anymore

you idiot the first set of stat is based on greatest diffrenation between the overall career average and average aganist Australia. It doesn't necessary say Mongia is better than Tendulkar. you stupid fool

So according to this stupid stats, all it takes for a batsman to get into the top 10 list is to score a hundred in 1 innings against Aus and then score 9 ducks that would make the overall average as 10 and average against Aus 100, thereby giving the differentiation of 90. If have to show this differentiation, then there should be a limit of atleast 10 tests against Aus and overall % of innings played against Aud to be greater than atleast 15% of total innings(total number of tests played by number of test playing countries).
This is another example of absolutely foolish interpretation of statistics. Tendulkar has played more matches and scored more runs (at an average of 56.00) than any other batsman in the analysis above and yet does not show up in the top ten! The argument is based on the difference in your average against the aussies versus you overall batting average. I guess being consistenly higher than 50.00, both against the aussies and overall is not good!!
