lakshman .. u are a wonderful testbatsman.. u prooved many times. but One day .... average is 30.76 with a strike rate 71.23 . at teh time of world cutp 2003 the batsmen whom he had to compete had better avaverages and strike rate than him.. so dont worry about ODI. you are so so good in tests that is the best platform to show ur talents

Who played in place of Laxman in world cup 2003? Dinesh Mongia and you say he is better than Laxman? Do you know Laxman scored 3 centuries in a week which is a world record?
India no 1 impossible bcoz Indians never consistent & jealous of each other especially of Dhoni & also politicians,BCCI etc wl have their say in team selection etc..Ha Ha
This man is really lucky. First Misbah gave him to be in race for 20-20. Then Misbah handed over 20-20 cup to dhoni. Now suddenly we are winning thanks to yuvi. Probably Yuvi is ideal captain
This idiot, can be taught by learnedz.. that he and his team were UTTER FAILURE for the past 10-15 years or so... There's no point BOOOMING AND BOASTING that he would be No.1 sooner or later...

arey indian name with a white skin beneath, nobody said that we are the best team, we are one of the best teams in world cricket that is what he was trying to say, and we have the potential to become the best, so i wish india all the best in becoming the best team and i wish you can use ur real name to post your comments.
Laxman is one of the most unassuming players , he may not be able to make his individual record as good as Sachin or Dravid,but his contribution to the team is quite the same. Just like dada who was resposible for making Indian team ,force to reckon with by nurturing match winning talents like Yuvraj,Sehwag,Bhajji,Pathan,Zaheer..even Dhoni.He changed the face of Indian cricket... however ungrateful Indians plotted against him and tried to humiliate him in all possible manners,,, but he was a real tiger & gave parting slap or kick on the ass of rascals like BCCI/ Vengy/Kiran More/Chappel...
it is said that to become a successful captian one needs a little bit of luck too. even ganguly mentioned abt this. sachin was in beetr from undr gangulys captiancy which was the reason for us going to the world cup finals, but sachin and many others dint play well in 2007 world cup under dravid. Inspite of that dravid had a better winning rate in odis and ganguly had better rate in tests esp abroad.now team combination is again good for dhoni but lets see how he does in foreign tours. he has made a good start though and i hope he succeeds.

What the hell.. check the away records of dravid and sachin... dravid is has far far better average in away tests than laxman.. laxman is no way close to either sachin or dravid both in home tests and away tests.. he has not scored centuries against quite a few countries including england..
