Dhoni is not the ultimate. He is pure lucky because of other's performance.

Dhoni does not deserve the top spot in one day rankings. Tendulkar is the one who belongs there or Sangakara or Smith. Tendulkar was not there because of injury. I refuse to believe that Dhoni can stay on top continuously for a few months. Coming to top after a few performances is not everything. He needs to prove himself that he is on top for a few months. We should not forget that he did not wnat Tendulkar in his side till Sharad Pawar told him that he has become captain only because Tendular suggested his name after refusing captaincy.

If Dhoni is lucky so is Ganguly. During Ganguly's tenue as captain his winning was based on the performance of Sacchin, Laxman, Dravid, Sehwag, Harbhajan and Kumble... So stop the double standards and give Dhoni his due. For that matter of fact Waugh, Ponting, Llyod... have also were the recepients of great players in their team. A captain is only as good as his team...

The good thing about cricket is statistics.....numbers talk. Just like no one can dispute Tendulkar is one of the best EVER in cricket you really cant dispute that Dhoni had a good year last year. If he does it again he will be number one again if not it will be someone else. Simple.

Why praveen kumar is forgotten... never ever heard of him after his last good performance for India ?

I think Dhoni & selectors do not like him and he has no contacts else he can not be treated this way..
