Ajit Agarkar used to get his wickets unusually. Most batsmen used to sleep because the ball took long time to reach them and thus resulting in a lot "bowled out" victims !!!

Anyhow wickets r important.At least, Agarkar broke world record for fasteset 50 wickets.He also share the honour for fastest 50 for an Indian.(See it is not Yuvraj or World No.1(????)Sachin(after playing more than 400 games)hold this Record.

Agarkar is unique...only fast bowler who bowls at the speed of 100km/hr....perhaps,he shud learn a bit of pace bowling from Kumble!!!
These NRI players should be paid handsomely so that they can serve us. Once, Indian Football standard goes up, I am quite sure that there will be great interest of Football in the nation that will trigger players with Good Physique and stamina from upper and middle class family. Why I suggest this that I and likewise a lot of football fans in this Country dream India play in World Cup against Brazil , Argentina and other nations. I am a true patriotic Indian.
A few days back, honorable P M, were saying that base of Indian sports is Football and Hockey and it should prosper more. I am really saddened to see the affairs of Indian Football. Mr P D Munshi is at the helm of Indian Football for quite some time now. If I am right, almost 25 years. But, yields not result in bringing glory to the nation. The quality of current Indian Foot ball team is not good which I have seen while playing with Maldive in the Finale of SAFF cup. It is high time that there should be drastic changes in the Football administration and someone else who played for India should take over as the Boss of Indian Football. I have gone through the Indian Football website and found a lot of NRI footballers eligible to play for India with good physique and height. With the current Scenario of India, Football players are coming from poor family back grounds and do not have good height and physique.
So, I wonder, why NRI talents are not used in improving Indian football standard. They are all playing for Europeans, American , Canadian and Australian clubs. What I suggest, that these NRI players whoever played for a 3rd Divn. club may be selected for trials under the name of FC NRI and play against current Indian Team and another Indian Team which can be selected from the players played in the Santosh Trophy 2008 These matches should be telecast in Doordarshan.
