Tendulkar opted out was because this toruney along with the Asia Cup is nothing more than a cartoon show. Everyone in their right mind including the Pakistani fans believed that India would win both the tourneys even with the raw bunch of youngsters. Who knew that this would be the outcome !!

Major reason was dhonis captaincy...he is hyped overconfident shadow... By ur logic, India could have won all the finals, whenever Sachin was there!
