by Ravikumar on Jun 12, 2008 11:58 AM

This white crooks are jealous about BCCI dominating the ICC and making huge money. They want to organise these kind of tournament to attract foriegn players and keep check to BCCI.BCCI should be beware of this and take apprpriate steps to keep themselves on top.

Money can attract the crowd can't keep it
by karma bharati on Jun 11, 2008 11:49 PM

You need quality sport to maintain the crowd and looking at the current team status it appears like , old couple are made to mate with some kind of Viagra.

England atlast realised that after IPL's success, they need to promote their 20-20 as well. Anyways, Pounds are much higher in value than rupees, so 20million is a big money...

unofficial tti.
by Daniel on Jun 11, 2008 09:57 PM

icc says it vl b an unofficial t20 intnl. but even this ipl was not an intnl t20 in icc's own words. they termed ipl as the local tourney n claimed their anti-corruption unit had no role to play in the local tourney.

The prize money is bigger, but definitely the scale is not...
For the players it matters but as a viewer one would like to see a tourney like IPL rather then a one off match.
And anyway, for any India-Pak match the money changing hands as illegal betting or satta is much more than $20m .
