by Shivaramakrishnan on Jan 07, 2008 01:03 PM

I remember sachin was given out by Bucknor LBW when the ball hit his back, when sachin ducked expecting a short ball. But the ball not bounced that much hit his back and bucknor gave him out in the same Australian tour only. but i dont know the year.

This is not the first time,Mr.Bucknor is giving a poor dission to India.Remember,Tendulkar was given out when the ball hit him on his body by the same umpire.Mr.Bucknor,pls retire from this job immediately,we will raise the pension fund for u.India should have walked out from the match when they refuse to go for third umpire for Ganguly dission.who is Ponting take the dession?
When Australian says something to Indian cricketer,it is sledging & it is their aggessiveness. When Indian says,it is racial abuse!!!!!!
What a shame on Australian culture.
Atlast,we should not allow Mr.Bucknor to come to India in Future.Let us protest.Because of poor dession,we have lost this test, otherwise we should have won this match.

Shame on ICC part to keep such an unfit upmires!!!!

if an umpire gave an wrong LBW decision it is less tolerable. But for catch he should have referred to third umpire who is sitting there.

A new rule
by Bharath Parthasarathy! on Jan 07, 2008 12:26 PM  | Hide replies

Bring a new rule that the umpires in the ground cannot declare a player is out or not out. Let it be the 3rd umpire's decision.
Totally depressed by the judgment given.

Even the bleady third umpires gave the wrong decision. In this case all the umpires should be from neutral countries. Let the ICC suck this idiot Bucknor for his continuous wrong decisions.

To fix the list
by chris on Jan 07, 2008 11:54 AM  | Hide replies

Amendments to correct the list.

The third umpire was correct in giving Symonds not out on that non stumping, as was Bucknor to turn down the second stumping.

Laxmans life in the first innings surviving a plum LBW shout. Went on to make a 100.

Tendulkars LBW wasn't close, it was absolutely plum.

Clarke took that catch no problems, the only people doubting it are one-eyed Indians.

Dhoni caught by Ponting after the ball comes off his pads onto his gloves, given not out. And if that is grounding the ball then half the catches ever made in cricket are illigitement.

And Symonds being trapped by Kumble on his hat trick ball wasn't even close.

Eventually it has been proved from the second test that, Cricket Australia no more cares for the Sport anymore, they care for the result. Being agree with their proffessional performance, it also sending other nations the messege that they may go to any extent to get paper win. Of course they know they are not winning the game, but does the Robot man Ponting cares???
And Empiring!!! Does it smells like some sort of fixing or error??? It was such an important game, and such a blind decision! It is affecting the heart of Indians. Heat of game is one thing and such a behavior is another.
How can they be such hostile to a visiting team, besides game???
Even Australia media is questioning Aussies game spirit, but it is shameless Ponting who is defending his team and himself..Also his continues failure against Bhajji leads him to make an appeal to ban him...how poor you are Aussies...You are on top in cheating..not in game..

Shame Australis!!!

"Advance Australia Fair" my ass

Your own Aussie press is saying Aussie cricketers are bloody jackasses.

Besides Chris- it is not "plum" (as in cake), it is "plumb" (as in plumb-line)
If you dont know cricket, better not write about it.

Seems like you are one of those Aussie rednecks who doesnt know or care for cricket but jumps in ready for a fight even if you dont know what the fight is about.

So Chris(t) the god. Either u r a cricket ignorant or a rabid nationalist.

Third umpire was wrong because Symonds was out (hope u know when is someone out and not-out).

Laxman...if every LBW was given out then Australia would have not even scored 150 in both thier innings.

Tendulkar's lbw was not even close, leave alone being plum

And you must be blind not to see that Clarke grassed the catch.

And about Dhoni's catch...you must be Ponting's PA to defend him.

And umpires also think like u about Symonds' lbw...what to do.

learn your cricket basics first, and then teach those umpires as well

Symonds should have been out for the nicked behind, neither stumpings were out.

Laxmans LBW plum, as proved by hawk eye.

Tendulkars LBW plum, as proved by Hawkeye.

Only Indian press claiming Clarke didn't catch that ball, which says alot about the Indian press.

Pontings catch is the same as every catch of its nature for the last 20 years which was given as a fair catch.

Symonds LBW was similar to Tendulkars except he was farther down the pitch, hawk eye confirming it was heading way over the top.

You need to stop burning effigies and wake up to yourself son.

UMPIRE'S ERROR SHOULD BE PENALISED
by DILIP KUTTIKAR on Jan 07, 2008 11:39 AM

Why it is such things happend only against India, compared to other World Cricketing. Umpires should not only punished but they should be banned atleast for 3 months or 6 months. Umpires can also fix the game for oppents by giving out and wining the opponents. ICC either they should go through modern technology umpire or by giving all rights to 3rd umpire as the final decision, after looking out reply can changed the decision of field umpires. or otherwise give right to team atleast 5 chances in case of doubt of their out, if it right their chance will survie.

BCCI has again shown how much it cares for indian players as well as indian cricket................every time any action is needed frm them they just say words but no action.............they simply just dont understand that there surely is a difference between sports and politics...........its high time that they should start caring about indian cricket more then the hussle and tussle betwen them
