Sports should be economy driven and the people who are giving entertainment to mass and sense of togetherness deserves high pay.
Cricket is like religion in INDIA. All come together in joy, pain & discussions. The country stops for this game .
Cricket is far better than politics and any other nation level events that thrive on dividing people.
Cricket is the one that brings people together.
This is good for economy and good for masses and good for business people.
Imagine people gathering in street corner cafe to watch and spend saturday night for 2 to 3 hours to watch there city team or there favorite team playing.
Good for local shops, generates spending and help generating employment.
India show its strength. Somthing which US can do for football, India can do for Cricket.. This is going to be better than T20 World Cup. Ye India ka cricket hai bidu... Chalo, youths ka vacation entertaining rahega.. Board should spend atleast 10 pc for the under 14 or 19 at state level training camps out of the income.
this must be the IPL anthem and every player should remember it by heart. This should be sung before the start of every match to let every player know why he is here and for what he is playing for.

If the Income tax people are paying attention, they should be able to get a lot of money from these folks as taxes...this total amount is close to 41 million USD...I don't know what % they can take as tax...but even 15% is huge amount for Indian Govt!
this sucks coz goin by d quotes...its obvious that d guyz biddin for d players hav no idea abt d game...someone like Mohd Yousuf withdrawing for not gettin a gud enough quote!!!...one can only guess whose loss it is...Yusuf or d teams...or both...

my friend.. he was not taken as icl had issued a notice to the eigth franchisees not to bid for him as mohd yusuf has violated their agreement.

England players are due to play cricket in April of this year as well as next year, so none of them have signed up as yet.
Check the column just above reserve players........ from when did nuwan zoysa start playing for India???? has he left sri lanka???? These kind of blunders are not expected from rediff.........
