India would still need to win atleast one out of their remaining 2 matches to qualify! Beating Australia seems like a Herculean task considering that India were not able to beat an Aussie team without Brett Lee.....
Now Lee is coming back so beating australia is out of the question....so India would have to beat Sri Lanka in the last league encounter!! We know how India goof up in crucial matches......so i would still put my money on an Australia - Sri Lanka final........

One match at a time Bhasma. India only needs to win 1 more match to reach finals. I think it is reasonable to assume it is doable.

Neither a competitive one. Bowlers did not get as many wickets as possible. Again, we made huge deal of getting just 238 - Aussies in the same situation would have got the scores in 35 overs! Again we proved that, if Sachin fails, rest of the people become extremely vulnerable and struggle. When Sachin scores, ret become complacent and then if India does not win, people say Sachin did not play well in India win matches. Don't blame Sachin. Dhoni's capatincy is not good. Yuvraj was a fluke today! On the whole mazaa nahi Aaya!!

You can say we stole the match away from SL.Which is very creditable. They had a winning chance after we lost 4 wickets. We can always say Aussies would have or could have. the fact is we won. So just enjoy it untill the next one. Life is full of little joys.

I agree with you. it was just win by luck. 3 batsmen were runout. two of them just b'cause stricker hit straight and bowler got finger over it. no one from our sqad score 100
