Some players do good for the sponsors & others for the country .... its sad that the game is played for sponsors and not for the country.

there is no fire without a spark --- there was news of ->incentives for time spent at the crease --. People like u are perfect targets which media and sponsors thrive on. God bless U. Aur ek baat -- ma/behn pe mat jaa -> this reflects ur persona, not mine.

u are nowhere near sachin batting talents. R u paying Sachin? What is wrong in they sponsoring? They need to make a living too. After they retire I am sure u guys will not even talk about them leave alone helping them. See the plight of some of our sportsmen. Nothing to live for. It is quite unfortunate that they had no company endorsing them. And after they retire they have absolutely no earnings. SO WHATS YOUR PROBLEM. You are just jealous that they earn quite a bit. And as far as playing for the country goes the players' statistics are more than enough. GROW UP

There is nothing wrong. I wish he should earn more but he should also be sincere towards his primary job...batting... Today he is making the money but not justifying his very slection in the team. This has been the case for the last three years.

RE:Sachin should be given a back seat

Sachin has the highest average than any Indian player in last 10 matches. He is playing for his nation and not for himself as Ganguly always plays for himself. Dude, Ganguly should be sitting in commentary box and doing the commentary now!!!

Party time for his critics!

They won't miss Tendulkar in Twenty20. Now he's even all set to say Good-Bye to One Day Cricket. Its party time for his critics. As for his biggest fans like me, it is the most difficult time. But anyway you people Enjoy!

I pity you archana and offer my full sympathies. Being such a great fan u too understood that Sachin is going to quit but ask him... his body says no but he still wants to go on and probably will go on. Thanks to the kars and pawars in Indian cricket. I am unable to understand why and how long Team India will have to carry this baggage.

DRAVID BURNING MIDNIGHT OIL WITHOUT PLAN
by Sarbeswar on Sep 04, 2007 10:04 AM  | Hide replies

Though Dravid is calm and gentle in approch but far behind Ganguly. He has to go for analysing the spirits of players and Ganguly when Ganguly was leading. Team has overwhelming talents without team effort.Sooner u analyse sooner u succed.

what are you trying to say? Check stats/overseas records/contributions before you talk--just because ganguly got the MOM in the last one dayer does not change anything--be objective

dravid lacks aggression in him, the whole worldagrees to this, u seem to b lost my friend, wake up and know the truth....Ganguly is and was the best captain India has ever produced, no one not even tendulkar can match him in terms of captaincy and aggression.....dravid after all is a grown up chicken, still afraid of the cats....learn to b a tiger my friend
