The player who have played so many ODI`s and Test matches, is still learning where to bowl on the pitch. I remember every match when Agarkar made many mistakes to dump India purely. He is now playing for almost 10 years, but still not a mature or convenient bowler. (ALWAYS EXPENSIVE EXPERIMENTS TO LOOSE MATCHES = Ajit Agarkar)

Agarkar is very importment bolwer in india because he take wicket very critical movement. he can move the bowl any side and he throw very good yorker bowl. he is wicket taker bolwer in india.

The Mumbai ODI on Oct 17 was an anti-climax in cricket sport when the better known batsmen were willingly surrendering their wickets to whosoever wished to claim them. Not only Indian players, but even the Aussies cricketers seemed to cooperate with one another in demolishing the standards attained so far by the eminent sportsmen in the field, even their own records.
However, the ill-fated match in Mumbai seemed to have had at least two objectives: to compete with each other in losing quick wickets, and, two, by dong so make a tribute to the renounced batsman from Pakistan, Inzamam Haq who just disappointedly quit the world cricket all together and played his last match in Pakistan playing at the same period against South Africa.
Now with the disastrous performance in the final ODI, now it is impossible to predict if Australian would win or throw their wickets to the needy opponents. His point is that matches are somewhat fixed. And it's not such a stupid argument. When there is a one off match or a dead rubber Australia lose with alarming consistency. The result is cricket becomes more interesting with people starting to believe Australia can be beaten, only to find out in the next meaningful match nothing has changed and they are still just as dominant.
From a financial stand point Cricket itself had most to gain from a Pakistan and India T20 final and India victory. Look at how NZ lost to Pakistan, running their top order batsmen out themselves, and how Australia lost to India.
Care factor for T20 in Australia and New Zealand is pretty much non existent. And we saw yesterday how when Australian batsmen got out they walked off smiling and laughing to themselves, certainly they weren't their usual competitive self.
Every article in Indian cricket will say that bowlers bowled badly. However, they never know the the fact that how many runs we scored by using the power play. Our openers never utilised the benefit of the power play in the ODI games againist australia. On contrary austrlians used the power play ver well and scored the runs. We need players who can use the power play more intelligently by attacking bowlers and scoring runs.

hahahaha i m not sure u watched any matches.. that is where it is said we bowled bad..AUS bowl good in powerplays that we have to play carefully ohterwise we lose 10/2; 12/3, 33/5...only in 2 games sachin-ganguly played carefully and paced nicely to score 91 and 140.. Understand the meaning of good bowling now???
am not a particular fan or one player or against one..But when everyone keeps fighting about who was better captain of india...I think I have to agree i will rather go with Azharudding or Kapil Dev than ganguly..simple reason..be it purely because of one player like Sachin or occasional good bowling performance--in ODIs we have won matches and even series. We were unbeatable at home and always won cups n trophys in sharjah, srilanka, bangladesh etc..apart from Natwest trophy--i dont remember a single cup won under ganguly.. Ganguly created a big media hype about india being num 2 in the world which was never true.. We lost home series vs WI in 2002, lost badly in NZ right before WC 2003 and lost any other finals we ever played including WI, NZ, AUS, SAF.. we reached the final of WC 2003.. WC was good; purely because of sachin's success as batsman and bowlers doing well... Ganguly's personal contribution as batsman was the worst in all 7 batsman played every match..that was why he always played extra batsman because he himself never played well except agains Kenya, ZIM, Bangladesh or at the most England occasionally.. THe only success as captain ganguly had was in tests winning 1 test each in ENG and AUS..but as ODI captain i really dont think there was anything special he did..it wa purely the other 10 people's performance and heavily success of sachin/sehwag and zaheer/nehra/agarkar in bowling..

The real fact is, Ganguly was never a good captain. Captain is a player who takes decision for team, with calm and supporting manner. I saw many times ganguly being angry on the players. He considered himself as a king of cricket when he was a CAP. now for ganguly fans answer some following Q: 1. How much runs he avarages during his period of captaincy- the answer is 22.00, while more and more runs he had made againt team like BAN, ZIM and Kenya. He never scored against good teams like AUS, SA. 2. Dravid also failed but have played well compare to ganguly as a captain avaraging 31.00, still good than ganguly. now the real reason that ganguly is successful is, At the time when Ganguly became CAP, players like Sehwag, Yuvraj and many others were new... as these newcomers did well in their times India got succes and all credit was given to Ganguly. Players like sehwag played that time very well as they wanted to emerge and to fix their places in the team for future. Its real that when Ganguly was a captain India did well but it was only good luck of india not ganguly`s efforts that made india successful. all credit goes to the newcomers who performed well, unlike stupid ganguly

who was the MOS in both ur mentioned series ? Sachin Tendulkar...and i did mention those two were the only success which he always hyped in media...btw i did not say dravid is better as captain..read properly;; i said azhar or kapil were better..not by numbers but also by winning cups and leading by example...dont jumpt the gun and be the same old crazy fan of someone.. I am not particularly fan of someone...i go by facts and figures and the reality..

contd... the biggest hype of ganguly abt india being no.2 was abt india's tour of aus..actually india has never won a single match vs AUS in ODIs under ganguly except the one game on that vb series..the rest we only beat ZIM to reach final and eventually lost 5 out of 6 mtaches played vs AUS.. my point is everyone babbling about making him captain again; should shut up...as we saw under dravid and dhoni also..captain is only as good as a team..if the team plays well; captain looks good; if team doesnt he is just another person in team..

Australia is going to wipe indias ass like never before....india and only indian player who played in 20-20 world cup should know the truth behind the victory in championship...when we play any game against anyone we very well know what quality the other player is. If indian cricket team is stupid enough they will challenge the aussies the way they have now....and look for the consequence....utter humiliation.....we are better as underdogs....when someone expects from our team it will never deliver....take my word
